8.8 solid axle from the 90s explorer? Great axles. Or do you mean this 34 spline super 8.8? Which would be awesome but definitely a lot of work

I've got the 9 inch now. One wheel peel, if I ever get it on the road I was thinking, anything that already has 4.10 or 373s. I have a 73 2 bbl Cleveland for it and c4 and I won't be hard on it so hopefully 28 spline will do. Was wondering if I need to control the pressure. If I get a drum brake axle? I have to put it together before I get into much performance things. Thanks again!

My youngest kid spent months in the hospital. I still weld and ship parts, but nothing is new yet, so it's hard to say

No, they used an overpriced, failure prone setup from a different company. Even the donor parts they used are weaker and harder to get replacements for.
