This is starting to get so irritating. I am not kidding, (almost) every. single. artist. or. RU-vidr. I. watch. there is a "What happened to them?" or a " They've become too mainstream now." comment. I understand people have opinions but now it's getting boring and it seems like they're doing it just to troll! I'm tired of it! Imagine Dragons? "Oh, they're too mainstream now." Owl City? "His music is boring and he's lost his spark!" Daughtry ( whom I've barely listened to and don't even really know)? "They've changed and are too mainstream!" Even Good Mythical Morning (which is a talk show) has "They're too boring now and I wish they would go back to their old formula!" comments! I wish people would embrace change and not resent it. Everything changes in life and people expecting everything and everyone to stay exactly the same is completely ridiculous! I guess my little 'rant' is over. I kind of needed to get that off my chest; it's been bugging me because I love music and listen to it almost everyday and hate when people find the smallest little thing to nitpick about. I'm still going to read comments but I read them to find good people and people I agree with (not saying all other commenters are bad people).

+Luc Da Great For example the only two artists I listen to obsessively are Imagine Dragons and Owl City (which is why I know the comments they get) and one of the reasons I enjoy listening to both of them is because they give a variety of tunes to listen to. One song can be upbeat and mellow and the other one can be slow and sorrowful. I think that is the true beauty of music; the ability to hear your mood(s) sung by someone more talented than you (at least in my case).

You guys know why people be bitching about things like "Why has their/his/her music changed so much?" It's because changes were made but were unnecessarily done so. Yeah when other artists change and they had it good, it's just that. They changed and it suited them. There are some who changed but doesn't sound too good, now that's the unnecessary change. People got their preferences and some preferred to stay the "old" music of their favorite artists. I mean, come on guys, these days there's a lot of shitty music that relied too much on effects (or those things that they do tinkering the whole music... I don't know what they're called). Only thing that kept me from listening to the latest songs of my favorite artists is that they still got decent songs and some thay just stucks to you.
