I should be at Rancho Nicasio right now watching these guys, but I had to pass. It's 112F degrees, and fires have been breaking out all over California. I was afraid to leave my home and belongings to drive 4 hours across the state. It's been 5 years since I last saw them, but I guess I'll have to wait a little longer. Sniff.

I've seen them together 3 times, the first was just two guys in chairs swapping songs, but last night at the Kessler was nothing short of incredible. Dave's guitar was absolutely incendiary, the entire band was amazing, and it was simply a great, great concert. Best one yet, in my opinion. x

We love the new song and video! Congrats! HEY Jimmy! We met you and your friend at Dan's hamburgers in Austin Texas the night that you guys shot some scenes from this video. We were sitting/eating in the booth next to you. we just happened to be sitting in the booth that your crew wanted to use. After finishing our meal, my wife and I introduced ourselves to you. you and your friend told us about your video shoot, and about a new song coming out. And Wow! it is a good one! I love these guys! I've known Jimmie for about 25 years (plus Janet--awesome woman & Buddhist teacher), then met Dave at one of their performances in Berkeley...Oh wow. --Apart from being creative/talented performers, songwriters, Jimmie & Dave are down-home philosophers and good-hearted men.-- Their July 17 performance in Chico, CA is sold out. Try to catch them next time---I'm prayin' they're still here.

The fact that you’re the kind of guy who feels the need to announce that you’re “rich and famous” is probably why you never heard from Dave. Also, Dave’s the kind of guy who, if he would have liked your poems, probably would’ve sent you a quick note saying something like “keep on keepin on, brother”. So…he probably didn’t think much of your poetry. Just saying.
