Or like The Pointer Sisters hit song “Dare Me” that had many more lyrics in it than just: Baby make your move - Step across the line - Go on, “Dare Me” by the fabulous Pointer sisters. Awesome song.
This song randomly started playing in my head and I had to find it again. Thank you so for much uploading this. This is one of the few songs that puts me in a good mood if I'm feeling down.
I forgot all about that the original song even existed (let alone was I aware of this version) until I heard the original in the grocery store yesterday. It has such a major catchy melody and very catchy and easy to remember lyrics that I was able to search and find the pointer sisters song and this outstanding kick ass version‼️‼️
Nemanja l never even heard of them but l only found the music vid which they constantly talked thru the entire vid ruining the song!! Perhaps if there was JUST an audio version l could appreciate it more.
@@kaidoluht1957 Of course, it depends on how you look at it. My argument is that it was a time when there was a lot of drive and melody in house music, but also when the sound quality wasn't so bad that it ruined the experience. In the 90's for instance, the sound quality in house music was (let's just say) pretty bad (like my grandmother would have tweaked all the knobs to make everything "look nice"). But then again, I wasn't born back then, so I can't really be the judge at anything from that time. What is your argument?
@@MusicDABIsMe Just listen to the drums. Way too clean, creative sampler and saturation uses in 90´s had much nicer warmer-punch. Sry you missed it and can´t seem to hear it or enjoy it. RU-vid compression don´t do any justice to these also. Get some records and warm system/ amp and earphones. That energy is missing in parody that is called house today. Isla 2400, sp950 and other fine engineerings are bringing that sound back to artists so there is hope. Also miss the creative, musical filter movements that french/us scene used. It´s out of color palette today totally cause it sucks when it´s too clean(inside the computer). I guess that around 2003 had better mixing with still lot´s of 90´s influence so there´s that quite happy middle place but even at 2002 MAW had probably done their best work. 98 Armand Van Helden sound like grandmother sound? I´ll take that, he brought it back some with his latest projects, still rockin and much different than anybody else, i reckon it´s certain preamps or compressors he´s soft clipping artistically. Funny what some 90´s home studios simple/low budget but by now classic gear is going these days. Those grandmothers are making killing selling those. Classic house is going through the phase like rock, where many would prefer the sound of 70´s, ofc recording medium alone would give you cleaner sound that part is better of course and conversions. 90´s is where it´s at for house, especially drum machines, samplers and bass synths, those are brought back by many companies, in similar form factor. It´s actually crazy what has happened in last few years. It sure is starting to show again more widely. These are all opinions for sure. Maybe some statistics could be made with poll that has hugel house music fans voting for peaks years? Who knows. Happy holiday!
I loved this track as a teenager, but now I'm a grown up I understand that I need to order a midas Armand de Brignac to make my friend accept it. But I can't afford it
