This is an 2007 extended (more complete) vocal mix of JJ's Stupidisco. Singer Shena sings extra lyrics from the pointer sister's original Dare me (1986).

@@HouseofTheDjJade Unfortunately, that's not how RU-vid algorithm thinks anymore. I used to find so many gems with just autoplay, now all I find is 3 hours mix with nothing but pop normie songs.
I don't understand why this track is so powerful after 20 years ...other tracks that have a similar effect on me : Mymymy, rendezvous, feel the need in me, bad habit, one more time .
Excelente tema para bailar..¡Muy bien el disjockey!

Still rock it. First time i heard during the GayPride in Madrid (2006) Shazam didn't exist, and nobody knew the name of the song. And finally 11 years later, i found it. Wow! Love it!
Its just gold...... the beats are one of the best Ive heard and sets everything in motion. I cant count how many times I must have listened to this and yet no music have come as close to catchy as this.
give it a break man, there's a 20 years gap between the two, not only producers are now a lot better, but there's also a lot more technology involved, and Disco is also known for being repetitive, you don't see it in most producers using orchestral arrangements, but the ones using the early synth tech didn't have much choice to work with, in 1985.
@@iHawke or perhaps, really perhaps... new genres arose, and people started being interested in new vibes. A quick glance at what is popular these days really give you an understanding at it, newer =/= better, even when more technique is involved, since those reduce creativity. Disco never failed, it's in fact one of the biggest success, one of the most proeminent and most recognizable genre, and also one of the most durable, as a dance type of music, and still has a big impact these days.
This might be a better version but please put some respect on the Pointer Sisters name. They are legends in their own right with a musical history that extends before disco and playing all over the world with well known bands. To have that longevity to crossover into different genres into a DJ coming to them wanting to remake their song, mind you still getting royalties the original is an amazing feat that most don’t get.
Make your move... Across the line Make your move... Come on, dare me! Baby make your move, step across the line Touch me one more time, come on, dare me! Wanna take you on, I know I can′t lose I'll be loving you if you just dare me I′ve got a chip on my shoulder With your name on it So don't just stand there foolin′ If you don't want it I say you're either a lover Or you are a liar So don′t you push too hard You′re playin' with fire (2x) Baby make your move, step across the line Touch me one more time, come on, dare me! Wanna take you on, I know I can′t lose I'll be loving you if you just dare me Looks like you′re lookin' for trouble And I′d say you found it You'll have to come right through me There's no way around it I hope that lean hungry look Means what it′s saying ′Cause I'm just sittin′ on ready Ready and waiting (2x) Baby make your move, step across the line Touch me one more time, come on, dare me! Wanna take you on, I know I can't lose I′ll be loving you if you just dare me Make your move... Across the line Make your move... Come on, dare me!
