You're reactions are sick ngl, but you mans need to listen to the bars, should get lyrics up, you'll be blown away by the number of bars that went over your heads🔥
Absolutely, they talked all over it, although it does sound like 1 or 2 of them knew the song anyway. Its one of the negatives when you have more than a few reacting to the same song. I love the Normies for example but they talk all over the episodes because they are all trying to get involved, I just feel they miss a lot.
realniggashit49 Dave’s mom bought him a piano when he was younger and him and his friend taught themselves to play it. He’s said this himself. Studying music doesn’t mean someone taught him to play the piano.
Jack the guy he was talking about, Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, were stabbed to death by Usman Khan at a prisoner rehabilitation event on 29 November. Jack was helping Dave's brother with his sentence. He meant a lot to Dave.
The two people mentioned devoted their lives to helping others. Specifically those from ethnic minorities in the uk. They were both stabbed to death. They were young talented and could have done anything they wanted but their choice was to help and they died for it. Dave is amazing for mentioning them.
Y'all should really try to travel to a country in Africa. Like Nigeria, or Ghana, or Kenya where majority of people are black. You won't feel racism there. There's other issues but not your skin colour
12:00 Black people already have our own countries, all over Africa and the Caribbean! A lot of nice places to visit even if American media doesn't show it
Not even a Drake fan but he has done a lot for the black community. The issue is more so the lean sipping mumble rappers who constantly degrade bw and offer nothing positive for blacks other than trash music.
Shakib ahmed I respect that but let's not forget that without the black music culture Drake wouldn't be anyone not gunna say it's the least he could do but it should be standard for famous black and mix race celebs to do stuff for the community but will Drake and like 80% of these other rappers risk the bag to really fight against racial and social injustices that's the question🤔🤷🏿♂️
@@Jacoc323 If, buts and maybes. He's done his part, doesn't have to risk the bag. If others follow suit then the world would be a better place. Idk why he is getting singled out. Why not Future for example? "Black excellence, but I guess when it comes to me it's not the same though" - Drake on diplomatic immunity. Remember he is mixed and closer to his white side and still doing a lot more for blacks than 99% of darkskin rappers.
Shakib ahmed Pretty sure I just said famous black and mix race celebs should be be doing stuff for the black community notice I said "Celebs" he might be the most famous rapper but he's still one guy. You'll find future in that 80% but fuck that 100% of rappers should use their platforms and other means of influence to fight injustice. I never said Drake had to do anything who am I tell him he has to do, You said he's done things for the black community I said I respect that but seeing as his status come from black culture it should be some mad crazy thing it should be standard to give back to the community that made you black, Asian or white. If there's some content with Drake speak out about injustices send me links respect him giving to charities but anyone with money do that obviously not enough do which is part of my point which why I said it should standard but unfortunately it's anything but amount most celebs. I said would 80% of rappers risk the bag for the fight against the injustices national or international no one needs you to make excuses for him or no one else the answer is yes or no. I hope you meant he's doing his bit not done his bit like he's given up if there's more to be done why not do it, he should speak out about people not supporting charities and starting charities but have the resources to that others don't. There's always stuff everyone could do to help battle Injustice and give people chance at a better life got poor people in every country don't have to be rich or famous to do more but if your rich and famous goes without saying it would be easier but would you give up it up to make life better for Millions that's what these people have to ask themselves and you should ask of them
@@Jacoc323 Man fully wrote an essay fair play. It's just cool to hate on Drake these days so I'm just pointing out that he's doing more than others so shouldn't be criticised but rather encouraged to continue.
I love how you guys always start out chatting and laughing and then Dave shuts you all up and you sit silent paying so much attention🤣🤣 it’s like a common theme in your Dave reactions. It’s because his words are so powerful and he’s so talented. Love your reactions 🙌🏼 thank you. Can you please react to question time by Dave next 🤩🤩
Btw at the end Jack Merrit was the guy Dave dedicated the performance to. He was a student who worked in criminal rehabilitation and he and the other girl shown Saskia lobbied for more humane sentences. They were killed in an attack in London, and the government tried to use it as an excuse to push tougher sentences which the families said they would not have wanted. It turns out Jack and Dave knew each other and Jack helped Dave with his brother's case. I remember seeing this performance live, biggest UK music award stage, could not look away from the tv for a second it was incredible. Performance of the night. Dave said on his instagram that night he was doing it for Jack.
React to Stormzy's 2018 Brit Award performance. It was everywhere, and it also got his house searched by police because he "threatened Arson" Edit: For some context Grenfell was a council estate/tower block in AJ Tracey's area that housed mainly lower Muslims. It burnt down because the council didn't bother spending 5k on propercladding. 71 people died and many people were injured, lost loved ones and priceless possessions (people were throwing their children from window ledges). To this day, a lot of the tenants still don't have stable or permanent housing (been re-housed)
Pliz pliz pliz look up the lyrics and listen to it at the same time. This song is a literal masterpiece, Dave is def the best lyricist av ever listened to
10:25 when he refers to Jack Merrit, he's referring to a man who was killed in a terrorist attack, he also helped Dave's brother out a lot as he's in prison serving 27 years to life for his role in the killing of Sofyen Ghailan.
Great reaction, The white guy shown on piano is Jack Merritt he helped one of Dave's brothers when he came out of jail believed in prison reform but was killed along with Saskia Jones when they intervened in a terror attack. Please react to Panic Attack Live when he was 18 it is a masterpiece just Dave and his piano spellbinding.
How people gonna say Dave aint the best lyricist in the UK rap/drill/grime scene after this lmao. this aint even his best song and its still more meaningful than anything anyone else dropped.
WhipperSnapper I'd say he's in the same bracket as Akala Lowkey and Mic Righteous but he's a lot younger than them and you have to rate that he's making this kinda music and producing it in a way that's easier to digest. So talent and has to the potential to be the goat he's already that for his generation looking forward to what the future holds for him maybe he'll have the influence to finally make kids realise knowledge is power
Cool reaction, picked up in most of his bars and he was flowing with the thick English accent. tip here, when you pause the video, rewind it a good couple of seconds when restarting it, just so you can keep the flow and dont miss bars. And also let someone else pause the video specky balls.
What's special about this performance is that there's an extra verse at the end which isn't on the original recording. It's referring to recent events taking place in the UK.

The Brits was in Feb 2020 so before all George Floyd stuff, clearly a black year from the start guys. React to Stormzy at the Brits 2020, amazing as well
Americans need to travel more or read more outside your immediate bubble. So many questions being asked in this video and alot of your videos generally shows how uninformed about the outside world of America.
I’m sorry but Dave is top artist n this video deserved to be listened to and not talked over, felt like you guys never caught what he was saying. Except my man on the far right.
Love that you guys reacted to this and love the energy but my advice is every time you talk pause it period even if you say one word can't talk and take in bars at the same time and rewind it like 5-10 seconds each time before you start again gives you a second to regroup and get ready to take it in again specially when there is 4 of you but otherwise good reaction
Just to give you some context jack merit died in a terror attack in London who used to fight for right and equality for all people. And when he said the Grenfel victims need accommodation it was a block of flats/apartments they burnt down and families died they couldn’t be saved. The government put flamible clamming in the building and when someone’s fridge set on fire the entire place did and loads of the victims are still homeless to this day. The wind rush was when England invited Jamaicans came over and was allowed to remain to help build the country back up and work. They then repayed them recently by sending them back to Jamaica even their children who have been in England since they was like 1 and no nothing but England. Put them on a plane and sent them back
What's the point of making video reaction if you aren't be able to sit down listen carrefully bars, and stop the song if you wanna talk i'm sorry but it's disrespectful and unpleasant to watch. You start pause to talk at the seconde verse... Dave try to teach us plz listen
You’d be wayyyy bigger if you didn’t talk over the track and skipped back like 10 seconds after you pause it, you miss a lotta bars while you’re all just talking, other than that vids are sick Fr
You guys talk too much..... it’s a reaction so you have to listen to the lyrics too. Do you know how many bars you guys missed. No hate but you guys need to be more attentive and stop talking over the song so that you’ll be able to catch the bars
Just been watching your reactions and I really enjoyed them but I have to say you guys haven't even touched the surface with real barers from the UK, Dave of course is one of them but you guys should be listening to people like Akala, Wretch 32, Avelino, Mic righteous, Lowkey, Ghetts and that's just for starters! The thing is you have to listen and pay attention or it will go straight over your heads. You cant even be having those conversations about who's the best lyricist when you haven't heard any of these trust me! Try Wretch 32 and Avelino Fire in the booth, but like I said you need to pay attention cause you wouldn't actually believe the level of talent these man have, also go back after you've paused so you dont miss anything!!!🔥🙏🏻
