I’m so relieved he was not hurt. And I’m so glad that Jamie Foxx was there and other friends in the audience. Jamie Foxx was a lifesaver for Chapelle. He made him feel safe and that he wasn’t alone and really calmed him being there on stage with him. That’s a beautiful beautiful brotherhood. This is how it should be. We should support each other and protect each other. Props! And come on Hollywood bowl security! That should have never have happened!

Big thanks to Jamie Fox and other celebrities and fans for acting out and protected Dave. Mad respect for comedians even more nowadays, Chris just took a slap, kept his calm and made the show go on, Dave just made even more joke and gave credit where credit is due 👍🏻. This shows that comedians protects each other, and the 2022 Oscar show celebrities that night are all cowards because no one, NO ONE, stood up to speak out for Chris let alone protect him.
