Who else remembers the Indian in the commercial about pollution shown back in the 1970s? After seeing lots of pollution and trash seemingly eveywhere, the Indian sheds a single tear. Ironically, this commercial was not created by environmentalists like most people think. It was created by trash haulers/land fill owners.

The purple grape juice is so true. Juice in general. In 1990 they came out with a purple drink aimed at white kids. White parents fell for it. So, I had a kid whose parents were giving him this purple drink and he had never had grape juice stay overnight with my son. We didn't have the purple grape drink because frozen 100% grape juice was actually cheaper. The little boy didn't want the real grape juice and thought it was gross having never had it. I finally convinced him to try it, he loved it, and wanted more. He said that grape juice tasted better than the grape drink. Just like the old kool aid those fake drinks will rot your teeth out, have no nutrition, hype the kids up with a sugar rush, and make the kids grouchy when the sugar rush wears off.

Classic... greatest of all time. We will never see another comedian that performs like Dave

I love me some good fried chicken and I live on watermelon from the beginning to the end of the season. Nothing brings people together like excellent fried chicken and watermelon. African Americans should be proud to eat fried chicken and watermelon. I used to attend a black church that once had an international theme to a potluck. People were asked to volunteer to make an international dish. They had a list to choose from so I took Mexico. The day of the potluck I noticed no one made a dish for Africa. So, I went and looked up foods from Africa. No joke, fried chicken comes from Africa and watermelon is thought to come from the Nile region originally and was hybridized into the watermelon of today. It was sad that the black parishioners in the church did not know their own history. I have heard twice now that slow roasted goat on the BBQ is pretty damn good too.

If you can’t laugh, then you can’t live. As a 1/2 native Indian on mother’s side and 1/2 German Jew on father’s side, I have heard about every joke and so called insult there is. I laugh it all off and stay happy.

What I like about this entire skit is that although he makes fun of Native American stereotypes, he then shows that nope, these guys are just like anyone else. Like, how they gave him a teepee (a traditional NA tent) but they all stayed in houses.
