hey they preformed on an island that my brother went to and it rained so hard and crazy that everyone had to stop and duck for cover anywhere, people ran back stage wherever they could go. So Dave came on the cruise ship and preformed for everyone , well whoever new cause it was a surprise .. Daves a great person and and the band members are all amazing people

Agreed! Haven't seen a show at SPAC in a number of years, as I moved out west, but it was always one of my favorite spots...Now, I have the Hollywood Bowl and The Greek Theater in LA...and, Shoreline Amphitheatre in San Fran is kinda special too...The Gorge is nice as well...One day, I'll see a show at Red Rocks!! One Day!!

i go to deer creek every year man i cant get enough of it! i have been to many other places and there is nothing like that venue even though its smaller then many others but like u said they always rock the house! this year was AMAZING! praying so hard for a live trax!!!

Seen Dave at the George for 11 years in a row. Simply the best venue I have ever been to.

alpine baby, that's the best. dave's said it numerous times walking out to start playing. "this is one of my most favorite places to play, i loooooove this place!" ahhhhh dmb at alpine is great!

That's right! I remember seeing that and going nuts! This Tuesday marks show #70 for me.

There is something real special about SPAC. The setting, the acoustics, really separate you from the world and put you in a different head space when you see not only DMB but anyone perform there. Same with Red Rocks, the Gorge. Music becomes a little more sacred when you witness it in places like this. As opposed to say, some arena named after a large corporation.

For the most part, I would agree. However, there are some big name venues that bring the very best from the band as well. Hands down, Deer Creek/Verizon/Klipsch Music center in Noblesville, IN. The boys bring down the house whenever they play there. Poke around and watch some videos and check the setlists. Having said that, I do want to go to SPAC to see them and I am in no way putting down any of the venues you mentioned.

I have questions...1. Did Rashaan get gastric bypass? Saw him in Hartford, and was 200lbs thinner. 2. SPAC is THE place to see DMB on the east coast, except Mansfield (did anyone see last nights set list???). I would love to see them at Gorge or Red Rocks. They really step it up at SPAC.

having been to both venues I prefer alpine every single time. the party and tail gating in Wisconsin is 500% better!!!!! also the view from outside the pavilion is better than spac.
