I've been following Dave Pollack for some time and totally agree with your assessment: "Great playing from a [sic] superb saxophonist and educator!", even if he eeks out some of those altissimo parts like some singers crack when trying to sing above their range, unlike the altissimo clarity of some classical saxophonists like Valentin Kovalev, Pedrosax, and Nikita Zimin.
@@DavePollack, but you slay all the other tones! I played through the transcript (slowly) a few hours ago, and I'm really impressed with all the motifs you came up with on the spot. If you did this in one take, 😲!
