Because winning the 500 yard freestyle (remember America is the ONLY country in the world that has swimming races in yards) and over 9 seconds slower than the record time in a race limited to only college students isn't exactly a big deal. If trans women have such an advantage then why aren't we seeing trans women dominate sport? As I said, winning the NCAA swimming championship is meaningless. Lia Thomas wouldnt even rank in the top 20 for the 400m freestyle. She wouldnt even make the US Olympic team. Even before FINA banned trans women it was very unlikely that Lia Thomas would have qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. So why are cis women still dominating sport?
