Dave the Barbarian takes place in the Middle Ages and centers on a powerful yet cowardly barbarian named Dave who lives in the fictitious land of Udrogoth along with his older sister Candy and younger sister Fang. His parents, Throktar and Glimia, are the King and Queen, but are away "fighting evil" across the world , and have left Candy in charge of the kingdom while Dave is supposed to defend the kingdom (since he is the biggest). Together the three siblings, along with their "wizard" uncle Oswidge, are left to run and protect the kingdom.
When i was a kid i used to watch this show all the time! To bad it got put on hiatus after its 21 episode!

June 13, 2004 is the evening I first discovered this masterpiece. Beauty and the Zit was the first episode I saw. 20 years later, this show still means a lot to me as it was a huge part of my childhood during the summer of 2004.

It was probably because of low ratings :( They aired it during the day here in Latin America (On a channel called Jetix, not on the Disney Channel nor Toon Disney)

It also indicates the changing of the guard, because I’m old enough to remember being hyped up for the premiere of this, it playing a new episode during Sunday morning brunch routine, playing “barbarians” on the playground at school, repeating lines to death. For me, the midnight shows were the animated series for Hercules, Little Mermaid, and things like Phil of the Future after it ended. I’d be willing to be you’re probably 20-24, yeah?
