In Dave The Diver, The Seapeople trade using a currency called Bei. Having a good supply of Bei is important for using the underwater farm for marine plants. In this video I will go over 2 methods. One done from the Seapeople village Game Parlour, and also one done by diving in the Glacial Area.

Just count the remaining teeth, pick a number to have the remaining teeth be a number divisible by four, and then just make their pick+yours equal 4

My farming method is just to do the pearl game. I record a video on 60 FPS and just replay the video timeline to track the crab’s movement. It’s much faster than the teeth game 😂👍🏼

Easiest way to start is just make the teeth to the right of the cavity (including the cavity) plus your first guess be a multiple of 4. i.e. if the 2nd tooth is the cavity, then your first pick should be 2. Then just top up the opposing guess to 4 every turn.

that clearly doesn't work, you see it in 2:55, the cavity is in tooth number 3 from the right, he picked 1 (which follows your strategy of counting from the right to the cavity then adding to be a multipile of 4, so 3 + 1) and then the opponent picked 1 which placed him in the number that is divisible by four, which is where the OPPONENT needs to be, not you.

No need to over complicate this. All you have to do is stop at 4 teeths before the trigger teeth. After that it doesn't matter what number the palour guy chooses. If he goes for 1, you go for 3. If he goes for 2 you go for 2 and so on :)

My only problem with this minigame is that the animation is too slow and I end up getting bored just from doing it twice

how can you not lose the hermit crab game? at some point it starts blitzing super fast it's easy to miss it. "can't lose" is bs lol.

Personally I feel the same as DoctorBoom here. At the maximum bet, the Hermit Crabs are too fast for me to accurately keep my eyes on. If you can track them great, however keeping eyes on the fast moving objects does take skill. So I will admit that it is a "skill issue" on my part for not being able to keep track 100% of the time. It would be faster than Shark Teeth. However that said Shark Teeth game literally requires no skill whatsoever, it's just plain mathematics. Whereas the Hermit crabs does require the ability to keep track of the object, and the card matching requires the ability to remember the positions of cards (and some other strategy elements). If you want to 100% the Hermit Crab game with no skill required, get screen capture software like I used to make this video, or even use a mobile phone camera. Record your screen when the Hermit Crabs appear, then playback the video at a slower speed, therefore slowing down the crabs.

theres no reason to do this. the gambling games are tedious, low profit, and you get plenty of bei from just picking things up and selling them to the smithy. the only game worth playing is the seahorse race due to the high margins on the later races. besides this, just the seahorse races should be enough to get you through most of the game until you start needing to buy seaweed seeds, whereupon you should already be dredging or salvaging enough from the glacial area and below to afford whatever you want. it's also way faster to just sell the smithy your junk items like silver bowls or excess materials, because you can only possibly need a certain amount of bei per trip. even when upgrading the seeds, i had already accumulated so much from racing that i would never touch the gambling.

Yeah this video is old, even in this video I show that the Glacial Cave used to be a much better place due to all the Jade items. And since then when the Dredge update came out, I made a new video called "New Bei Farming Meta" where I show the value of a bunch of Dredge items.

@@Randomturtle001 ahh, my bad then. i'll check that out. glacial area is not as lush as i'd like, i hope they add new cambrian species eventually.
