For anyone who didn’t understand the guy who pulled up his pants leg and showed the gun, Thats Raheem Sterling, a footballer (soccer player) who’s always targeted by English media for basically being a happy black man, they demolished him over the gun on his leg but he came out and said it had something to do with gun violence at a younger age or something, Sterling has also been a victim of racist fan chants at numerous games

Its cos Gambino is bigger globally otherwise Dave makes better music and I ain't even saying that cos I'm in the UK. I straight up dont rate many rappers from the US anymore, it ain't the same as it used to be. The golden gen of guys like NAS, Pac, Biggie has gone and very few make decent music but are slept on for mumble. Rate guys like Logic, J Cole etc. But it's hard to find rappers to rate in America like before.

My grand daughter is mixed race, her mum (my daughter) is white English and her dad is from Senegal. With most of her family being white, as only her father is in England. She has been told from young about her heritage and that she is beautiful for who she is inside and out. I don't believe anyone should be denied their heritage whether they are white, black, yellow, brown or blue and green. People shouldn't be judged on their colour/race either. It is what the person themselves are like that matters

iliketocomment89 I have to say, Sterling has been an absolute rock through the shit he’s had thrown at him. But its worked out well. His dignified stance against the idiotic section of the media. The Sun has come out of this looking atrocious. The Mail not much better. They are despicable. Sterling on the other hand has gone from strength to strength. The man is one of the best players on the planet, and he is an unbelievable role model.

Listening to this made me emotional, the fact that I'm white and his lyricism and ability to produce and portray such beautiful word play and choreography that allowed someone that this song isnt targeted to to be able to empathise with his challenges and general stigma surrounding race to the point of near tears is a true testament to both his intelligence and integrity.
