Michael Takahashi Hardcore Cubs fan and I hate to say it but if the Cubs don’t get their shit together via their starting rotation, they won’t make it very far in the playoffs. That’s just unbiased real talk. I love the way they are swinging the bat and the run support is phenomenal. But ,when you get deep into those playoffs, pitching is key. Hopefully they can reel Darvish back in and have a renewed spark.

Speaking of bullpens, how about the cubs bullpen? I like the way they’ve been looking lately. In the 3rd inning I’ve been yelling from my bed for Maddon to pull Lester and give him some relief. I don’t know why Maddon likes to stretch Lester out so long when he’s struggling especially like he was on Saturday vs the Nats when he gave up 9 runs . Pull the fucking man! Give him some damn rest! Our bullpen has been great. And Pedro Strop has been looking like Pedro Martinez with his closing abilities. I also love the addition of our new southpaw Hamels. How can you not like that guy?

@CubsBaseball

They don't want to send down Chatwood because he is out of options to go to AAA, so he would just become a free agent. But we need to keep Bote in the majors no matter what.

From a 38 year CUB fan,thank you so much for giving me and all other Cubbies this video so quickly and for us to save.I kept switching to NFL Network when gNATS were at bat in the 9th but came back and watched the Bote Miracle live.Definitely woke-up my neighbors with yelling!-- Best CUBS game since 2016!Very happy for Bote.He seems like a good kid who's been working his way up from the Farm and is making the most of his shot in the Bigs.Think we'll find a spot somewhere on the roster for Bote from now on!!!!

Me, my wife, brother in-law and his girl watched this live from section 219!! I sreamed like a school girl for a solid 2 minutes when Bote crushed that ball!!!!! The atmosphere during the whole game, felt like a playoff game!! Not only did we get to see this finish, but we also got to see two pitchers throw gems!! This was a truly priceless memory, best part is my bro actually won the tickets from work in a free drawing!! Talk about insane luck!!!

i can't wait to make it to Wrigley, i'm a Cubs fan in California (Thanks to WGN) i was holding my 10 month old daughter when that Super Slam was hit, and i was cheering and crying and screaming and all she did was look at me like "What's the big deal, I knew that was going to happen" She loves her Cubbies LOL.

The Nationals have never had an incredible playoff run--the Nats do it to themselves. In 2017, the Cubs practically gave the Nats a chance to face off against the Dodgers but the Nats screwed themselves.
