I first saw Bowie when he sang Starman on ToTPs, 1972 when I was 15 & had a very similar experience 😮 I didn’t even know who this young guy was (although I have heard of him) but I totally got everything he said. I even knew what his message to DB would be, ‘Thank you’ & his reasons why, it would be mine too & for the same reasons. From one Bowie fan to another I see you 💜

When I first saw him I thought he was jumping on a gender bandwagon. But actually I'll hold my hands up and say fair play. I judged you wrong. David Bowie was a trail blazer. I think the biggest problem people have with change is how it comes about. If it is demanded of the people then you will get resistance, but if you say look this is me then things become a lot simpler. Be you and don't have an agenda then your gender more or less is much more receivable to most common folk.
