If a Bowie song has Star or Space in the title then you know its going to be a killer.

Probably the most underrated Bowie's song, but now is currently one of my favs

I think Webster's dictionary should consider changing the word "Cool" to "Bowie".. It would have such a nice ring to it.. Imagine it.. For example-- "Did you see that" ? That was so "Bowie"..

I love this song, in fact I loved the entire album. David had matured and understood that many of his looooooooong time fans had too. The sound of this album reflects this, just straight forward great rock!! I really enjoy cranking this up when I have long distances. I appreciate that he did this album. Thank You for all of the great music David Bowie.

I bought this as a DVD single when it first came out. Still have it. It has a crisper look that isn't there in the internet versions.

I know the song, New Killer Star, was released in 2003, but its name is interesting with respect to his final album title Blackstar. Apparently black star is a type of cancer lesion. Weird coincidence that Black Star is a Killer Star. RIP David.

The amazing thing about David Bowie's music is that a 3 1/2 minute song will sound like it lasts for 10 minutes.

Note the Lazarus bluebird in the beginning and end of this video. Also note the constantly looming nuclear reactors and the madman pulling the switch while the sweating slaves (people being used and punished) are distracted by the sexy woman. Note the location near Monument Valley. Then go watch Bowies "Hallo Spaceboy" video and freeze it at the part that says Santa Cruz secret location. Bowie appears to know something is up and is signaling us. This may explain why his videos were filled with dark images and depressing subject matter at the end, like his puppets in the "Love is Lost" remix video and the evil presence that emerged from the closet and is under the bed in the "Lazarus" video. Maybe the Black Star is looming in 2016.

For those that somehow don't know by the lyrics, David lived in New York and this song is about witnessing the events that took place on 9/11 and a speculation into the repercussions including a possibility of nuclear war. In regards to any extra theories David himself always maintained that nothing he does is on any kind of "intellectual slant". Incredible artist nonetheless.

I remember I had a friend who played me some of this album when it came out and even though I wasn't into it at the time, I liked the older stuff so much better, I knew that there would be a time later that I could really appreciate it.

Good God. I've been a fan for 42 billion years and I just NOW caught up with this oh-so-awesome video. How'd this get by me, besides by way of brain damage and inattentiveness?! Always loved this song; I remember it was the second song he played on the Reality Tour at the Wiltern Theatre in L.A. - which was the best of the nine concerts of his I saw between 1974 and 2004. And as an added plus, this is one of the few videos that doesn't pain my heart with the insurmountable sadness his death has brought me.
