Looking through his social media was enough to turn me away from him. I never thought I'd see the day where he'd do the same as Nikki Haley did, I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote the same thing as she did on the bombs. There are ways you can still belong to a faith and be against all forms of corruption, war, and genocide, and also be critical of a government. The issue with David is, he's a huge hypocrite. He'll sing songs like Land of Confusion and Vengeful Ones which are all about corruption and the evil that governments do behind people's backs, funding wars and weapons to maim and slaughter innocent civilians. So, I just couldn't separate their art from David's politics, that's why I stopped listening as soon as I knew about it.

I knew David had some connection to Israel via his heritage, but I hoped that wouldn't transfer to him being an active supporter of the IDF and what's happening.

And what’s gonna happen to David/Disturbed? Nothing. They’re still gonna play big arenas and festivals and maybe play land of confusion (which is f***ing ironic given the mean of the song) with no punishment to signing bombs and being okay with anti-Semitic theories about George Sorros/deaths of innocent civilians. If he’d speaks out against Israel’s actions, people like Ronald would call him a poser like he did with SCOWL for (checks notes) oh yeah “we don’t wanna perform at an event sponsored by the us military as well people funding a genocide”

I've tried to separate the art from the artist, especially when it comes to politics. I can enjoy plenty of music from artists who don't agree with me politically -- Shinedown's last album was sort of right-wing, and I really liked it -- but what Draiman is doing isn't just a disagreement, it's glorifying violence.

This point right here, even if I lean to the left as far as my politics go. I'll appreciate a decently written song. With David though, I know that he feels very close to Israel, as it is part of his heritage, but I never thought he would feel so extremely close to their government and the IDF. I am against every and all forms of violence, it's cruel and it's needless. There's a lot of nuance in this situation where, you can belong to a faith and be critical of violence and how the government treats people. If signing a bomb isn't being complicit and being okay with the brutality of innocent civilians, then I don't know what is. We can agree to disagree on a lot of political matters, but not when it is relating to human rights and potentially displacing innocent people by slaughtering and bombing their homes.

I was at Download Festival. The Sunday opened an hour later than planned due to the weather. Some of the earlier bands had to be cut because of it. Don’t believe it was A7Xs fault.

Honestly, he could've done worse. I'm just going to come out and say it, he could've done worse. Like at least this isn't a matter of finding out David was involved with a sex scandal or getting involved with a closet full of underaged teenage girls. Something to that affect. I'm going to treat Disturbed the same way as I did Rammstein, the same way as I did Pantera and vice versa (with exceptions like Marilyn Manson). I like the music, don't really care about the band's political stance or in this case, David's stance on the matter.
