This reminds me of a beautiful cherry red Peterbilt that hauls a flatbed trailer on Forrest View Drive here in Sullivan County Tennessee. I have loved seeing that truck ever since I was a kid. I'm 17 now, and I still love seeing that truck.

No arrogance whatsoever, yet he's driving one of the best looking rigs on the highway. Awesome vid. I'm pulling a belt trailer right now and he's right. You can be offloaded or reloaded in just a matter of minutes. It's awesome that as a local driver he gets to drive a rig like that. Surely it is because he has paid his dues out here.. and he probably never even asked for that rig. Awesome video Chris. They just keep gettin' better and better. Also, think it's super cool the way he pointed out all the historical stuff. He really doesn't just blindly run down the road, he truly enjoys what he is doing.

Chris I have to agree with Dacid Ferris pulling an dump wagon being about the best job in truck driving, I hauled coal for 2 years in Midwest Alabama and it was great I worked for a small company and every morning we would meet and drink coffee with the boss trying to get primed for the day, he always had a number of loads that he was assigned to move that day from the different mines. He would assign each driver with a number of loads and the mine or mines they came out of and where they went either a steam plant or some times a cement company and we got paid buy the tonnage of coal we hauled each day. If I was assigned 3 loads fr a given day, as soon as I could get those loads done I was done fr the day. I usualy got back home between 1pm to supper time, he made sure that each driver were given enough loads during the week so that each driver had a chance to make good money each day, A example that if you were assigined 3 loads that paid 3.00 dollars a ton you got 2.00 per ton tons gave you $270.00for the day and you did that 3 days a week it gave You $800.00for those 3 days and the other 2 days you hauled 4 loads for tons at $1.50 a ton because it was a lower grade of coal for thos 2 days yo made $180 for those 2 days so before taxes you made $980 for the week, considering healthcare was a perk and cost you no money and most drivers packed a lunch that is not bad money for 5 days, but alas those days are over now. Add in the fact you only lived 5 miles from your yard and if you could get the smae loads for the 4 weeks which happened about half the timeyou could be looking at a minium of $3900.00 a month, the reason you could make such good money is because the boss knew the job was dangerous and he had a shop to make money on the side fixing other trucks,

Holy shit, I saw this truck today in NC on I-40, sick looking truck!

Most people have no clue what truck drivers do for a living on a daily basis and I'm asking everyone when you see a big truck that's trying to get in front of you to change lanes flash your headlights off anon and let them know that you are inviting them to get in front of you. You never know what a truck driver is hauling to a local store that you made by one day. When you see a gas tanker going down the freeway always make make room for them because if it wasn't for them you would be going down the freeway. A lot of truck drivers spend a lot of time away from home to bring products to stores that you may go to one day in the future give them a tooth with your horn when you drive-by and children that you appreciate what they do because they sacrificed so much to get behind the wheel to help America keep moving forward. Truckers across the country spend so much time away from home they don't get to spend time with their family their friends or get to go out and have fun as much is the American people do always be appreciative of what they do and show respect for them and always if you ever get a chance to get in front of somebody and holding back so I trucker can get over be that guy and hold traffic back in flash your headlights letting the trucker know that you are making room for him to change lanes they really appreciate that

I like when you catch up with them on the job Chris. It changes the atmosphere as it differs from the guys coming out of the truck shows. Which are still awesome now dont get me wrong! For instance the one you did with the guys pulling those mobile Cat generators to aid the folks after the hurricane. Thats still one of my favorites! You talked to those guys for many miles until it got dark. Keep doing what your doing and we'll keep supporting ✌

YEP!!!! That IS a nice ride!!! I drive a CX Mack with a small sleeper, we run So Fla, up to central Fla, across to Tampa. Wish ya'll could get more bulldog action on here, but I know they're not the popular truck out here. Great for our tankers though, in and out of ship yards, fueling ships. If it floats, we fuel it!!! I thought that guy was telling it like it is. I could see him sitting at a truckstop, having dinner, and not running his mouth like a CB Rambo, just a hard working driver, gentleman, be a pleasure to meet another old school driver!!! I've been at it since '81 myself!! Seen alot change over the years, unfortunately not all for the good!! Chris, you keep up the great vids and work!! Helps keep the industry aware of what's going on and what's out there

He's definitely right about it gettin in your blood and not bein able to get it out, my dad's been drivin for over 21 years, his dad drove, my mom drove, my brother has been drivin for a few years, and both grandpa's did and I've been polishing and cleanin trucks for a couple years and here in about a year I'll be 18 and gettin my CDL just like all of them

I'm hoping the new administration take a real look at the elogs rule. it isn't going to help on safety out on the roads. if you look at most accidents out here. it's involved companies running elogs. they rush and take chances to beat a clock. plus how do you expect to earn a living when your waiting to load unload while you clock is running. your mileage will definitely go down alot

That is a gorges truck. Had a 95 w-9 with the original aerodyne sleeper. Sold it in 2002 . Fuel price. Have no clue how they make it.
