Personnally, I think Bowie adds a completely new dimension to this song and it is a strike of genius that he doesn't try to replicate Waters' vocals but adds his own completely unique twist.

The way that Bowie steps back several steps after his verses, puts his hands behind his back and lowers his head when Gilmour steps forward is pure class. Two British legends, two amazing voices.

I was there in the 5th row. I cried then, I cried just now when I played it. The whole evening was very special. You knew that you were seeing stellar musicians at the peak of their powers. I think that this version of Comfortably Numb is the finest version of any rock song ever played. It is that good. I doubt that it will ever be surpassed.

As a Floyd fan this is one of the greatest pieces of music of all time. But Bowie takes it to another level. For me the definite version of a masterpiece. RIP David - still missed.

Shame it is not for 18 or even 80 minutes. I listen to this masterpiece evey day when I do my exercises. And time flies by. Best version is the one in Gdansk though. May I congratulate you on your impeccable taste in music.

Saw them in Earls Court London. I got to meet Gilmour and Rick Wright RIP as I’m related to Sam Brown ( Joe Browns daughter) who was one of the backing singers. Fantastic night !! I’m an atheist but THAT was a spiritual experience !!! Gilmour speaks and weeps through his guitar !!

I have nothing but endless respect and admiration for Pink Floyd but ffs I can't listen to them - even one song - without getting so freaking depressed it's scary. I'm not naturally depressed so the effect is notable. Had to give them up before I hurt myself :(

Wow....first time seeing this. Fortunate enough to see Bowie before he passed away. I wasn't really a fan of his until that night. He changed everything about what I thought of him and his music. A true gentlemen, an amazing entertainer and a musician like no other. Always been a Pink Floyd fan especially Gilmore...one of my favorite songs ever written.

At the end, I hope there is no pain, and they merely recede. Bowie was my hero anew earlier this year, releasing his last album the day before he left us, and leaving haunting music and video in his wake. I hope I'm that graceful and cunning when my final days are upon me.

When you think about the musical legacy, the huge, incredible body of work that those five men have left to humanity, my goodness....... I never saw Bowie live, a huge regret... However I did see Floyd twice after Roger Waters left; at Wembley Stadium in 1988, and Earls Court (the old one, now demolished) in 1994. Both incredible experiences that will live with me till the day I die.

I'm here today remembering my friend Jerry, a devoted Pink Floyd fan. As I am a devoted Bowie fan, we both enjoyed watching and listening together. He was lost to this world this past August 27,2020. Only covid-19 was powerful enough to take my "Missouri-tough" friend down.

Absolutely love Bowie...but when David Gilmour started singing, that was it for me. His voice is so soothing and familiar to me. It's like a time warp and I'm transferred back to a wonderful time in my life. If you can, I would highly recommend listening to his solo LP from 1978...it's just stunning.

The way people applauded when gilmour started singing and soloing is pure magic and shows that It doesnt matter if you heard that song 100 times or if the fucking legend of Bowie is there on stage, the whole song is a legend on its own

I like how Bowie further creates his own vocal rather than try to “copy” note for note the original. There’s a reason why they called him the chameleon.

This is less known than some of the many versions of comfortably numb, especially Pulse. But this beats them all for 1) Bowie and 2) the second solo is somehow EVEN BETTER as it winds up to the final minute, climbing ever higher up the fret board, and Mason’s finale

The David's, what can I say--perfection! Mr. Gilmour just keeps getting better with age like a fine wine! ❤ Now at 78, he is even better! His voice is so much more soulful now and his guitar playing is freaking amazing! He makes me much less fearful of getting older!😊

This was amazing, I never knew David Bowie had shared the stage with any of the Floyd. This would have been cool to see earlier in time before Roger left. What a great version of the song. If time travel ever becomes commercially available for vacationing, I know I'll be going back again and again to see some of these incredible Floyd concerts.

When experiencing three superstars performing a Gem of a Song, that was performed many times by David Gilmour, and whomever; you don't know what to expect. I can't speak for others, but this was a Treasure of a performance, and I hope others appreciate this "Gem", as well...

After having watched The Wall when I was 16 or so I swore to myself I never wanted to become comfortably numb. I am 52 now and I think I succeeded so far. And I was at the Venice Pink Floyd concert and saw The Division Bell concert three times in New York. I hope I won't forget I've been there once I get old and demented.
