Me too. This man is a great inspiration to me, and I have to change a lot. I'm overweight, have depression, anxiety and OCD. I want to change! I can't keep a job because of these disorders, and that makes me even more depressed. I want to be at least 25% of what Goggins is. We all have the potential to do so, but it is really hard to tap into this potential. I must find a way to use the anger and anguish I feel and turn it into fuel.

Showing us all what are BODIES are capable of when we control our MIND and don’t let it limit us. I was a husky kid, was never told I was athletic. Looked at my body and decided this wasn’t how I viewed myself in my mind. Realized the jocks in class likely weren’t just ‘born that way’ and got there through work. Our fam didn’t have a lot of money. I started running then it eventually was fun and less uncomfortable. I did hard workouts solo to race my watch. I joined our high school XC team and we won the state championship. I’m now a primary care doc and share this story and awkward photos of my husky self to my patients as we build a treatment plan. Went to sleep listening to him for the first time. woke up this morning listening to his morning battle I won today's battle. Went to Spotify tonight before bed pushed my limits on push ups as I heard " who's gonna carry the boats, they don't know me son" playing in the background, my body quivered as I pushed my limits, and my body automatically released grunts. I took two 10 sec breaks between a 3 minute session , I hate doing push ups based on time not sets they feel harder and longer and they suck. I reached in and did more than I could imagine called it a night ima keep trying STAY HARD. Tmrs battle here I come.

This one time I was in class and I asked my teacher what to you think about David Goggins, and he said “oh you know he is strange and weird and he is different “, so I said back o him how is he different and my teacher replied “he isn’t normal because of how he does things” this made me realise that everyone in life has different perspectives on people, some hate, some love but at least one person in the world wether it was past present or future had the seem perspective of a person or thing.

I recently started a new job and I started running today after months of wasting time doing absolutely nothing. My plan was to go for a run in the afternoon after work but thanks to my gahdamn luck I started feeling feverish in the middle of the day but I said to myself "So what, Fvck the fever and man tf up" and I did. Since it was my first exercise in along time I only ran 20mins but I still did it with a fever. Gotta say i really suffered on the way back home on my motorbike with fever and faintish. Still stopped to get the groceries I was supposed to bring. Now here I am on the bed drinking water, opened up YT and I see this short on the same day. Feel like this has to be a sign to never give up. I'm proud of myself for keeping my word to myself today. Anyway i gotta go have a shower now. Stay strong boys do not give up!
