Leonard Molberg Thanks for your feedback, Leonard! For clarification: the upright action I use is modified in various ways, by means of repetition speed comparable to a grand action. Building a vertical piano there's no alternative to the respective action, imho the gain regarding the advanced sound offsets any minor demerits of the action by far.

Very very interesting! But I have a question. One thing is speed and another is the touch and the response to the nuances of it. The range of nuances that vertical machinery can give us is not the same as that of a grand piano. How have you solved it?

To be honest a Two Story Piano is hardly portable

Hello Tech Tins, I found the information that David Klavins started to work on model 450i in 2013. It seems that this project has not been finished yet. /ml

Just recently it was finished basically, right now touching up details, building the podium, etc. - you can find a sound sample on my Soundcloud page - thepianoguy. :-)
