There's always been something special about this song. It feels like Dave and the band are being as sincere as they can be to the music they're making. This was not an attempt at a commercial song, or "hit" - they were doing this one for themselves (or so it seems). Your cover was amazing. Inspiring! I especially loved how you made sure to include that last ferocious lick and rescue it from the fade.
There are so many solos during that period, very tricky to choose one over the others in my opinion but yes this one is definitely one of the top one. It's super original and the last part is incredible. Thanks!
Great job covering an awesome track which In my Mind was one of Vai’s greatest solo and the best to have come out of the mid 80’s. The tapping part towards the end is absolutely iconic!
Very good cover, to this day I still can't play the fast alternate-picking snippet at 2:25 - that still baffles me after many years of trying. Can I suggest that you use one of these new generation AI software to separate the audio tracks, so that you can get rid of the original guitar track.
Unfortunately I did not study music so I'm not good at knowing chords although I can tell you 4th fret 2nd string 4th set 4th string and 5th fret 5th string lol but yeah if you pick up a guitar and play this it'll be the chord you're looking for. Hope that helped

Excellent playing on a very difficult solo! BRAVO! I always thought this insane hammer-on solo was ordered by Dave to outclass EVH's hammer-on technique and make Eddie sound like a beginner in comparison. What do you think?

I studied this tune carefully from the time it was released. It’s a valiant effort but.....there are several important accent notes missing and I’m not sure why. They’re highly playable and when they’re not played in the cover I definitely miss them.

Bro that was great! The only thing I'd say would be to perfect the solo part. Some uncertainty there and shortcuts that simplify the technique at the expense of the full expression of the notes
Keep the wrist band on your right hand either on all the time or off all the time. It makes the edits obvious and let’s everyone know you had to play this in multiple takes to get it right.
I used to do multiple angles for people to enjoy them but would take the track of only one of the takes. I did change the way I do my videos now, for this exact reason. I would be happy to do another video if this is something people would like me to see doing
