My brother worked as a NYC cop for an entire year in downtown Manhattan, following the 9/11 attacks. Dave had an apartment in that area and was extremely generous in providing a great deal of fine food and drinks for all of the first responders. He also visited with them and thanked them for their work. Made a point in keeping this quiet and without any publicity, as is his way. A real class act.

I think Dave's hair is the only thing that has aged about him. His posture, his voice, his energy, his everything else, it doesn't look like he has aged a single day since he retired from the Late Show. 😍😍😍❤❤❤

Actually feels like he is in a better place now than in his last several years on CBS. Like he has more energy and vitality not going through the daily grind

My favorite David Letterman interview was when he was interviewing Barack Obama and watching Barack Obama turn the interview around, and he was interviewing David Letterman. It made me laugh. ❤

I really loved Dave's interview show on Netflix. His style has changed from the Late Show, but I enjoy how much fun he's having. I still can't ever get over that beard every time I see him.

It's a good thing Dave took over the interview because I think Jimmy would've been too overwhelmed to ask anything! 😄 Love seeing Jimmy fanboy so much!!! 😍❤😍

His recognizable voice behind that silvery ball of hair, brought good memories of his show, which I watched practically every night..🌙 Good to see David Letterman again.

I watched Dave faithfully for many years. It was heartbreaking for me when he ended his run on late night. The man is one of a kind. What made him so funny is the fact you never know what is going to come out of his mouth. He's incredibly intelligent and goofy which made his interviews all the more engaging. He could make most mundane guest interesting. He's interviewed Presidents and other heads of state then turn a 180 and interview Paris Hilton!! Yes, he did poke fun of some of them but that's his way. I just love the work he does now. He has an incredible presence and still has that sharp sense of humor that makes him so unique. Loves that he refers to Jimmy as "James". LoL!!!!

David Letterman was the opening act of a concert when I was in college (late 70s - early 80s). The headliner? Ray Charles. To this day, it is the only performance that I wanted to immediately buy tickets to see the show again. An unlikely pairing and both gave A+ performances.
