Hello again fren across the seas 👋 I know exactly what you mean. You're feeling the holy spirit when you're listening & watching these wonderful voices singing praises to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, they're the most moving voices I hear. You're definitely feeling the loving comforting spirit of God. I've been their fan for about 8 years now, 1 concert, best EVER, and they're every bit as joyful in person. I would recommend you listen to many more Gaither Vocal Band songs, the more you listen, the more awesome individual singers you will hear that will also blow you away.... Of course, prolly not as much as lovely David. LoL.... Thanks for your fun videos, it was really fun watching you dance along...I do the same thing ♥️🤩😍 Much love & prayers from America 🙏♥️

Great harmonies! I understand what you're saying. They can elicit joyfulness, pensive emotions, happiness or hopefulness. Love the GVB and LOVE David!

I get the "comfort" completely. They, and their message, become the friends and "soul mates" we all need and enjoy spending time with while building our spirits. This world is not a fun place now generally. We must be on guard against the invisible enemy as well as the enemy of our soul. Their music and faces are a "safe haven" of like-minded beings for me, they are my family and I'll spend Eternity with them. Blessings

It's kind of like trying to choose a favorite child, but this concert makes my top ten GVB performances along with my favorite lineup. When this was first released, they also had behind the scene videos where they would all pile into a car and take turns driving. They were so funny. I tried to find them, but alas no luck. As always, Mark is acting up...haha! The comradery is so genuine amongst these men. Thank you Lyle -- this was great fun to watch again.

I absolutely love this song!! It is such a joyous, happy song. And David was fantastic, as usual. And the GVB was great!! The harmonies are wonderful. Great reaction!!

I loved this video as well as your reaction, Lyle. I understand the "comfort" your speaking about. After my dad suffered a major stoke and my mom was slowly being taken from us by Alzheimer's disease, the Gaither videos became daily "visitors". I can still see my dad laughing at Mark or silently crying at the amazing messages of God's love for him. It still amazes me how well the Lord loves us and uses so many messengers to do so. Jesus loves us this I know!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your heart Lyle.

Oh yes, yes, yes....That was so good. Jumping back to hear and see it all again lol....He can sing any genre ...soul, swing, blues, opera, rock...etc etc etc. I do remember that hilarious segment when he said he is storing all his treasures in heaven...and the crack about him having a hobby hahaha.....I needed this today...lol Thanks Lyle....as always your 'reaction' and analysis is so very informative.

I totally agree with you! I can be having the worst day and take a break to listen to David or the Gaither Vocal Band with David, just makes such a difference in how I see things and how I deal with them. That my friend is God working through them!

Absolutely loved this!!! I completely get what you're saying! There's the familiar, the heart-warming, the fun, the joy, the encouragement you get from the message of the song, the genuineness from them as they sing and share, not to mention their professionalism and beautiful harmonies and music!! (because otherwise we wouldn't listen to them!) The full package! It's a God-thing!! He definitely knew what He was doing bringing these talents together to further His Kingdom! Just as you are listening to and enjoying it all, the message pierces through and His Holy Sprit speaks to your soul!! (Yes, some may say it's "weird"!😉) 💜😊🎶😊💜 Loved this!

I was gonna say this is one of my favorites, but I say that about pretty much every David Phelps song. I really hope you get to see him live one day, his voice is unreal in person... you FEEL it across your skin, just amazing. I'm going to Barn Bash in couple of weeks, it's gonna be the release party and concert debut for the new album. I can't wait! I look forward to your future reaction to his latest "Hello Beautiful". It's fantastic as always.

This Gaither Homecoming music is honey to the soul. Jessy Dixon is a must see with this song from the Red Rocks Homecoming.

You are absolutely on point about the comfort level and joy on their faces that is transmitted to those of who watch, listen, and follow their music. They believe with all of their heart the messages that they bring, and it shows on their faces and in their body language. Many people can sing notes and even show passion on their faces, but the music of David and the GVB transcends the ears and the mind and goes straight to the heart, soul, and spirit. I listen to Christian music almost exclusively, and there are many, many excellent artists who convey the message of Christ, God, and our Christian walk, all of whom I greatly appreciate and adore, but I cannot seem to go a day without listening to David or the GVB, and when I do miss a day or more it feels like something is missing in my spirit because of how their music speaks to my restless soul, my cluttered mind, and at times my low spirit. If you get a chance, check out Ernie Haase and the Signature Sound. They, too, are in the Gaither music family and often sing with the GVB, but are in their own right an excellent quartet who also speak deeply to the soul and spirit while they are conveying the message of the Lord.

Comforting. That's exactly one of the feelings that I experience and why I often feel the "need" to watch David and the Gaither singers. Not only do we get to hear wonderful voices and uplifting spiritual messages but leave feeling like we've been wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold winter day.

My introduction to David Phelps, thank you. Enjoyed it a lot. You may not be familiar with the Everly Brothers, they are Rock n Roll icons from the '50s and early '60s, they were more popular than Elvis Pressley, they inspired such greats as the Beatles, Simon n Garfunkel, Keith Richards n many more. They were the first to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Don Everly passed away yesterday and I was wondering if you would react to one of their songs, if you can't at this time please take a few moments to check out some of their songs here on RU-vid for your own enjoyment. They had so many hits it was hard to keep track of. Thank you for taking time to read this over long tome. One of my favorites is " All I Have To Do is Dream"
