I have run out of adjectives to describe David....he sings every song with such passion and sensitivity that he makes you not only hear every word but you feel and believe every word to be right and true. Best singer in the world. His tone, range and power are unmeasured and without comparison.

I'm right there Alicia !! I have always been deeply philosophical about life and the larger meaning of it, in this vast universe. I am very spiritual, but have rejected religious dogma, probably because most churches have rejected me as a gay man. However, David voice lights up every fiber of my being and I have never felt so connected with the divine creator, who we can name God or otherwise. He voice makes me cry like nothing else.
David lives what he sings and you are appreciated for your honest reactions- one of his greatest gifts, is the ability to evoke our motions because of his honest love and portrayal of Christ
Thank you. David delivers every message from the Lord through his voice (which is glorious) and his ability to communicate the love of God for every one of us, being fully persuaded of it. We're never left in doubt because we feel the love of the Lord pouring over and into us. It is ours to reach up and pull into our very own lives, and oh how it delights the heart of God when we do - and that's just the beginning, there's always more, He never runs out, He's El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough, not El Cheapo, rationing us ...God loves a cheerful giver, because HE's a cheerful Giver.
Another great reaction. David's voice is soothing and calming, we listen to David when we drive and our autistic son listens to David to help calm him down when he's in a meltdown. David and my son Logan have a wonderful friendship, David makes him feel loved and important to him and it shows on their faces when they see each other.
SUCH a great testimony!! (I heard myself yell out to no one in particular right now, "Preach, Jamie--preach it, Girl!!!" Hahaha!!) I've always loved to watch just HOW much David especially adores children of all ages. They have a special place in his heart as those of us who, like you, have been able to go to concerts and Barn Bashes get to witness this first hand. As we've all said, David doesn't just talk the talk......he walks the walk.
Lyle, as a fellow Phelps phan, I love to hear your reactions as they mirror what we phans feel about David. You have a great sense of humor too. You are correct about wanting a weekly/daily dose of David's music and voice. To me he is God's vessel of comfort and encouragement wrapped up in that fabulous voice.

Thanks for another great reaction video! We can tell you have been "Phelpsed"! We know what you mean when you say it gets you emotional when he sings from the heart. Go one step further and watch him sing the songs he "wrote from his heart"! May I suggest that in the weeks to come, react to these videos of David singing these songs he wrote, either by himself or with another awesome songwriter: "Gentle Savior", "Agnus Dei", "Fly Again", "The Singer" (Which some say show his love of the music of Queen!), "Legacy of Love", and my all-time fave "Virtuoso" (which he recorded an upbeat band version and then a slower unplugged version). These are all on RU-vid and will keep you busy for the next few weeks!
What you are feeling is the spirit and love of God. He loves each one of us. There is more to be experienced and you can have it in your heart and life but you have to pursue it, Let the Lord lead you. I have listened to David for a while and in person and I absolutely love him. Many songs make me fall on my knees and pray and worship. I hope to go to one of his Barn Bash concerts one day. I have never seen anyone who is as tender with a song as David Phelps. He doesn't crush the idea and spirit of a song even when singing at full volume. He is still careful with the song's meaning. Lyle, you need to go to David Phelps' Barn Bash 2021. He has one on Labor Day (September) and then he has 2 at Christmas time (Nov 28 and 29 I think this year). Look on his website. I'm just like you, can't get enough of David Phelps. But do you have Jesus as your personal SAVIOR. Are you born again? I think it is hard not to love David's messages though his songs and not give in. To ask Jesus into your heart. If not I'll pray that you will serve Him.
