It's so nice to have these songs to wrap ourselves in when times get tough. David has saved my sanity many times and reminded me that a simple prayer brings the Lord to my side.

Thanks Lyle, for reacting to this beautiful song. I’ve been listening to David Phelps for about 5 years. The first video I saw of David Phelps was O Holy Night. It absolutely left me speechless! I became a big fan ever since. I haven’t heard this song before. As I listened to David’s beautiful voice and the message of God’s love for us, I shed tears and felt an overwhelming peace and comfort for my weary soul. There’s no doubt in my mind that David Phelps is anointed by God to bring His message of the gospel and His great love for His children. Thank you so much Lyle, for the weekly dose of David. I look forward to it every week! ❤

I absolutely concur with you, Lyle. Whatever song you hear, just follow the path and listen to more. His music has had an unbelievable impact on my life as you mention it has had on yours. I love your reactions and have gone back and watched many, many of other artists you've done over the past 3-4 years. I thoroughly enjoy them, but I note your countenance has changed. You are much more "at peace", though you are facing difficulties in dealing with the elderly and separation from their families by the lockdowns. I can't imagine conveying that news to those poor people and trying to help them through it. Strength and Courage to you, my Friend. I know how difficult your work must be. Blessings

Each time I hear David sing a song I’ve never heard, I’m so, so amazed! His beautiful voice touches my soul and it lifts me up to another level of worshiping our LORD! Lyle, I have listened to this a couple of times, for three nights in a row now! The song is absolutely beautiful and so soothing, the harmonies are hauntingly beautiful! Your reaction is so heartfelt. You ask us to let you know what we think - this has left me pretty speechless. David's deliverance of this song, his voice-as always, the harmonies, the musicians, your reaction- all of it leaves me speechless. Yes, it has been a tough week/2 weeks. I pray for you in your job and your residents. God has placed you there for a reason! He will give you the strength and words when you need them. Hey Lyle! Thanks once again for another DP reaction video. I have been binge watching your reaction videos the last few days while I'm working. I work from home and have my home computer on my desk to listen to music while I work. I've been a DP/Gaither phan for years and years and, like you, I never tire of listening to him/them. It has been so awesome seeing your reactions to the many songs that are true favorites of mine. it is like looking at the world through a child's eyes--you get a fresh perspective and hear them "again" for the "first time" through your eyes, ears, and heart. Thank you for your videos and thank you for being a DP phan also! I'm picking up that your favorite words are "wow" and "amazing"! My words exactly, along with so many more adjectives!

To a 95 year old person who asks, will I ever see my family again?" I would tell them that Jesus will either let you see stay here on this earth for another while or He will bring you to His home and will embrace you with loving arms and you will see your family that have gone on before you and they will also embrace you because they have been waiting for you to come home. The family who are left behind, you will also see them again someday. We are only here for a short time but with Jesus and our loved ones for all eternity. What an amazing gift our precious Lord Jesus has given to us all! 🙏 Oh to be able to sing His praises in heaven fills my soul with such joy! 🎶 Hearing David sing with such love for the Lord is also so spiritually uplifting. The Lord has blessed him with this vocal talent and he is using it beautifully. Keep singing David! ❤

This is a beautiful song and David’s singing is just breathtaking, isn’t it? It’s hard to imagine anyone else delivering this message to us. Can I make a request for a song? Have you heard of the Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø? She is the national treasure of Norway and has a incredible voice. She is also considered one of the world's top crossover sopranos. If you have seen the Titanic movie, then you have definitely heard her voice. Could you react to her stunningly beautiful version of "Walking Through Fire"?

Precious song, truths and reminders beautifully spoken into our hearts with David's sweet voice. I love how you can really hear his love for our Savior. He has never wavered, through all the storms of life, from his deep, deep love and trust in God. We are blessed to hear that love in such a beautiful way. Thank you Lyle for allowing yourself to be honest and open in how you react from your heart. So encouraging to see you and hear David. You are a blessings Lyle, one of God's precious brothers.
