That embrace atbthe end! These guys loved each other like brothers. Despite the hotheaded arguments, and fights in their younger days, how could they have known, when they first met back in the early '60s Motown that they would forge a lifelong friendship, performing, and touring together until their untimely passing, within a year of each other. The true beauty of friendship. Check it Out! Ciao!!l
Love these gentlemen. I seriously play the tempts all day everyday in my car, house wherever I can. Eddie, Paul and David are my favorite artist. Rip. I’m jealous of those who got to see them live. Thanks for the video. I don’t know how I never saw this. I hope we get the reunion of 82 in its completion one day.
These 2 Brothers are it for me. Irreplaceable!. I sing a little bit, and i patterned my style after David. And Sweet Eddie, he was the Best. THEY WERE BORN to sing together. I can't stop watching this. Lew McMillan 🎉❤
I sing a little myself, and it is exciting and a special treat to see a performance like this of people you pattern yourself after (I come close to Eddie, but not real close 😄) Had the pleasure of meeting Eddie, Paul, and Melvin after one of their shows, back in the day and that is one of my biggest treasures. 🤩😁
Wow what a treat! Thank you Brune' and Nure" for this wonderful presentation! It was clear and sounded excellent! We appreciate this! WE even subscribed to your channel! Thank you! Thank you!
Funny, 3 missing from those classic early hits and you barely notice, no drop off with the “Voices” front and center. Never be another like Ruffin and Eddie the “K”.
David & Eddie should have stayed with the Temps. I can understand Eddie wanted to stay with the love songs, but with Norman Whitfield was going in another direction. Although the group have made some terrific songs. The likes of Smokey Robinson was busy with other projects. David Ruffin did do some great solo work, my favourite track was titled, Everything is coming up love. But just like Phillipe Wynne the lead singer of the Spinners, once you leave the a group that is so successful, it tough going, unless your multi talented, like Smokey Robinson.
When you have a great songwriter that understands your talent, i.e., Smoky wrote "My Girl" for David specifically. You can clearly see how well that worked.
