Every week we're asking a different artist to spend 10 minutes sketching a portrait from the same photograph and give some hints and tips while they’re doing it. The idea is to see how different artists approach the same subject, and learn from the similarities and differences in their methods.

I enjoyed drawing along with Mr Shevlino. The 10 minute time restriction certainly concentrates the mind on what to draw and what to leave out..

Interesting with Lizet on Sunday 17th May. Finding the different perspectives seems to be the key, circles, squares, envelopes, boxes, etc all worth examining !
