My Whole LIFE and FAITH in YAH changed Once I understood The 4th Commanment and understood Shabbat was NEVER done away with as we were taught in Christianity.. PRAISE YAH, I no Longer practice LAWLESSNESS , am So HAPPY and WAIT for SHABBAT, it's absolutely my FAVORITE and BEST DAY of the week!! Thank you ABBA for giving use a Holiday on a weekly basis.
Thank you, Jewish brothers and sisters, for keeping Shabbat, for the Redemption did indeed arrive!! I also love the emphasis on freedom. To me that is the essence of Christianity. God so loved us that He made us free, because only in freedom can we love, and reflect His beautiful Face, for God is love. In our freedom, we WILL sin. The other, necessary, aspect of God's love is mercy, and forgiveness (read the entire book of Hosea!). We are free, "free to worship Him without fear, holy and righteous in His sight, all the days of our life", because in Jesus, we have the object lesson in forgiveness.. We need not fear even if we sin, because we have God's forgiveness, if we but ask for it. "For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that those who believe in Him might not perish but have eternal life' (John3:16). In truth, the Christian response to your keeping of Shabbat is profound gratitude, until the time when God has called all whose names are "written in the Book of Life" into the redemption for which your faithfulness paved the way. Then it also will be given back to you, for it was always yours, from the beginning.
+potomaccrafter Wow dude! That is so profound, I started tearing up in contemplation after reading your comment. I'm a Christian and I just found this Rabbi David Solomon and I am captivated by his insight. He is also entertaining to listen to. I don't know any Jews so these videos of his are great for me to learn about Judaism. I do have a few Muslim friends and have great respect for Islam! David seams vary down to earth. And so I think, in spite of the traditional animosities, like me he would get along great with them as well.
With all due respect. I do understand and recognize that the nation of Israel is the creators servant. With that said, how do we know, what is the actual weekend? Is it because man claims its the weekend? Is it only because the world recognizes the weekend, in which we have, and have had, for thousands of years? Jewish people recognize the sabbath on Friday/Saturday till sun down. Christianity claims both Saturday, while most claim is Sunday. Does it have to be either? If we look to the bible, there are many passages, in which said prophet emphasized, that when an event were to happen and take place, and or, before they would travel, they, the children of Israel, would mention the moon cycle, such as "the new moon", or they would mention that "days before", or "after" a sabbath. Wasn't the moon and the sun their way of knowing what time of day, month, and even year it was? The year maybe not. And isn't this still the way to tell the time of day/night? In the book of Genesis, didn't the creator explain what the moon and the sun was designed for, and that it was for man to be able to know the times? The world at one time, used the lunar calendar. The Gregorian calendar, was a later method of understanding, and was invented by those outside the understandings of the Jewish faithful. And was adopted by the world, including the Jewish faithful. So they say. Maybe the Jewish faithful, are deliberately not allowing the world to know the actual day and heavenly setting of the sabbath, in order to protect its sacred and meaningful day, either for a purpose, and or unintentionally. Or maybe I'm wrong. One thing is for sure. Nobody would be able to change the creators natural heavenly clock. Not then, not now. Nobody can hide the sun, neither the moon. They (mankind) can only change what man can change, and can then allow man to believe it. That is, if it really doesn't matter, when you recognize the weekend sabbath, just as long as you recognize a weekly sabbath. This maybe, but only in our own eyes, mind. I honestly believe, that it can only be what G-d created. Something that has been there, since the day G-d created it. And has guided the children of G-d, throughout the scriptures.
Shabbat is for 1 day, weekend is for 2 days in modern world. Shabbat is the day for worshipping god.. not for the pure freedom he is talking about. And this "day of rest" was invented by masters (who rules you) coz they knew if we just gave the peoples a sense that they are free, they will be more productive means more taxes.
nobody needs to keep Shabbath anymore, not even Jews. i dont think this is a good argument. i do agree though that our whole western civilization is founded upon the biblical principles, it is a fact, old and new testament, and first part of his argument is something I agree with and it is a sound argument, that weekend off stems from Sabbath keeping, but the second part of his argument that Jews still need to keep Shabbath and if they didnt keep it the world would soon start working 7 days a week, nooo! Our God does not require anyone to keep Shabbath and world mostly dont care about what Jews do or dont do. it s the same as if you claimed the whole world would stop doing this or that if Jews stopped doing it. just like jewish nation built on other pples achievements so did other people built on biblical wisdom and precepts. Anyway Jews in majority domt accept Jewish Messiah Jeshua- Jesus Christ, He came to give you another covenant, no more Sabbaths no more temple, that covenant is obsolete! thank God for my Jewish Messiah Jesus Christ and the liberty and life that I enjoy in Him! :) Thank God for Jewish people too from which the Bible came and our Messiah! @@shainazion4073 there is no Christian concept without Jewish concept. Jesus not just was, but is a Jew! He is still a Jew! Because He still lives, resurrected, on the right hand side of the God Father in Heaven. Jesus met all the qualifications of the Jewish Messiah, but Jews do not understand qualifications of the Messiah. Read the Isaiah chapter 53, Psalm 22, Psalm 110...etc all prophecies of the coming Messiah. Jews didnt recognize their Messiah when He came, which is in accordance with previous events when they didnt recognize God s prophets but killed them all, they killed Zachariah between altar and the outer chamber. The Jewish establishment, let s call it that way, rabbis never recognized what came from God. So, dont listen to them, read the Bible yourself Old and then see what the New Testament (covenant) says. @@missthunderstormable Isaiah Chapter 53 has nothing to do with Qualifications. ▪︎The Messiah is a man, not a God. ▪︎The Messiah was to be of the tribe of Judah, Tribe is passed through the father, You say that Jesus had no earthly father. ▪︎The Messiah was to be from the line of both King David and King Solomon, Jesus is not. ▪︎ The Messiah was to ingather all of Israel into Israel, this has not happened. ▪︎ The Messiah was to bring world peace, this has not happened. ▪︎ The Messiah was to have all the world turn to belief in the one True God. This has not happened. ▪︎ Nowhere in any Jewish scriptures does the Messiah come with an installment plan. Do nothing, come back later in a few thousand years.

Jesus is of the tribe of Judah and He did have an earlthy Father, his earthly father was the husband of his mother Mary, therefore he was His father, but Joseph, his father, did not have any doing in his birth, as Jesus was born of a Virgin, just like the Jewish holy book says: He will be born of a virgin. Now your rabbis say virgin is just a girl, a young girl, but it is not. There are 2 geneologies of Jesus, one in Matthew who is a Jew and one in Luke, a gentile, they possibly tell stories from different perspectives and there are a few explanations why these differences. One might be Mary s and one Joseph s etc.. Yes, he is to gather all of the Israel, it does not say when! He came once as the Messiah, but the second time, He will not come as a Messiah, He will come as a Righteous Judge and Ruler. It will be too late if you leave it till then. And everyone will BOW and confess that Jesus is Lord when He comes, everyone will see Him and those who pierced Him, the Bible says. And about Messiah being a man not God, read Psalm I gave you, Psalm 101: The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies. Who are these 2 Lords?? Read your Bible.
