As a foreigner I can barely understand half of their conversation yet still feel their joyous energy lol. Toast to the most adorable human beings/time lords!!!
Uh oh. I am British and it's just second nature to be able to understand them lol. I feel sorry for the people who do the subtitles for these twos interviews
@@fionawilliams5477 I’m American & it’s second nature to me too. I was exposed to it as a little girl & now I search for all the different British accents. So, no problem!
weird replies, the op(whom seems to be chinese) says he can't understand English very well but enjoys the tone/energy of the voices, and the replies are people saying "I as a person who speaks English have no trouble understanding them"....
Two great friends having a chat (I have had a similar experience watching Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann together at a panel) and Jodie being absolutely joyful and fun. Do I need any more reasons to explain why I love this woman.
I see people complaining about the writing, and I agree - but it is in part because there are too many lead characters on the show now. This is in part a crutch for the writers, who can write exposition for each character which helps them 'tell' instead of 'show' - showing is much harder when you have only two lead characters, and takes much more skillful writing and dialogue. Jodie is great as the Doctor, but instead of developing the other characters, the companions are continually given lines that are to only further the plot. It simply becomes too difficult to write and develop 3 additional character backgrounds.
in season 12 (yes i'm american), jodie really comes into her own as the doctor. i wasn't so sure in season eleven but i started to find this version of the doctor quite endearing in her second season. it's a shame that the writing went to shit- especially with this version master and the reveal at the end of the season. the only way this version of the master would even work well is if it's somewhere before missy and the master we see with david- and even then, he would have knowledge that wouldn't really make sense with how we see the master and missy in those seasons.
thats why i blame chibnall. she is so vibrant and she felt powerful in a bunch of other roles. Those are two perfect traits for the doctor but for some reason his writing couldnt tap into those features.
@American Freedom World Peace I mean there's a difference chibnals writing is just expository it happened with his episodes in moffat era aswell just how he is :/ but like no one's complaining like they did with moffat chibnals writing team is just boring it's not even bad it's just boring to watch
1) You mentioned "New fans" had supposedly deserted the show... yet here I am 2) It's subjective, 9 years is half my life 3) "Some live more in 20 years than others do 80", same logic can be provided here. Seniority doesn't mean anything, time changes, and so does the show. 4) I know people who've watched the show since the 60's and 70's and still love it.
