This man ages like a Time Lord. He’s in his 50s and running around like an energetic child. I’m 29 and get out of breath after walking for 5 minutes. Jeez.
David Tennant is back, Catherine Tate is back, Bernard Cribbins is back, RTD is back, and Confidential is back. I'm living in a dream I seriously can't wait until November. Last time I was this excited for Doctor Who was back during The End of Time. Everything I love about the show is all coming back. My favorite doctor, companion, and showrunner is back... it still feels unbelievable to me.
I once attended a con where David did a Q&A, but I couldn't ask my question, which was meant to be: "What Doctor Who monster do you think would be the best one to guard Scrooge McDuck's money bin?"
Every time he makes a bit of a "hrm, I'm older now" gesture or comment... I'm left here like "*Sir* - I was once anxious, because I was utterly unable to see anyone past their early twenties as attractive, even as I closed on a decade's age difference. After watching and realising when Good Omens was recorded **large-gestured flailing** How do you get MORE handsome?! MORE!" I am no longer anxious. I'm sure there are other people who unfairly age like fine wine.
Saw him in Much Ado About Nothing with Catherine Taite, and he is wonderful in theatre. I love him as Doctor Who, but my first memories of DT will forever be in Takin' Over the Asylum. If you haven't watched it I recommend you do as DT and Ken Stott are superb, bouncing off each other wonderfully.
I think we can all agree one of the most important things to take away from this and the last Comic con he did too is... DAVID TENNANT IS GOING TO BE DOING MORE SHAKESPEARE OH MY HAPPY DAYS I CANNOTWYUQNXDSHJH!!!!! And thank you for uploading this too of course :)
At 44:05 David's Kilgrave was showing a little there lmaoo I love David Tennant so much, truly one of the most greatest actors and human beings of all time, and he ages like fine wine (Or a Time Lord in this case)
My most favourite Doctor ever. Could barely contain my excitement when he appeared again at the end of the last episode as I didn't have any heads up that he was returning.
I had the pleasure of seeing David Tennant in the play Don Juan In Soho back in 2017. He came out the stage door after the performance and was so wonderful with all the people who wanted photos or a chat.
28:30 I love how david responds to this question, looks like he knows something ;) Gives me the same vibes when someone asked him last year if he was returning to the show..
Watching this right after the Macbeth play announcement is very fun, like, HA, I know what he’s referring to here Thank you for posting this, it’s always nice to see David’s panels :D
Sigh… this man. I love him so much. I met him in Seattle at the beginning of March. He is charming and funny. Seattle is a weird town and QnA was not as entertaining, even though he was as charming and intelligent as ever. Makes me think I should fly across the country to visit Richmond next time he’s there.
Thanks so much for recording and uploading this!! I am so very excited about the teaser of more Shakespeare coming soon(ish)!! DT is just the best...This vid made my day ❤❤
Thanks for visiting my state David Tennant! I don’t really look/know at where actors/actresses visit in the US, but if I had known, I would have come to say hi :)
40:30 "things that have been very formative to specific moments in your life probably hit you very differently much later" me watching doctor who 7 years later and realizing where my personality came from lmao
I hope they have some wiggle room between the specials with the 14th Doctor so we could get some big finish adventures after the 60 anniversary airs. But if they’re all directly connected like events directly follow events that’ll be ok.
Maybe because he was such a baddie? But I loved him in that, in fact, it was the first I heard of David Tennant. I wasn’t a Who fan before that. He was so chilling, so amazing in Jessica Jones I searched out his other stuff. I think Broadchurch is what I watched next, that was a good series but it wasn’t quite the DT I was looking for so I cooled off for a bit. Then my son got to an age that we could start watching Dr Who together and we started from series 1 of the reboot and became total Whovians. Then when we finally got to DT’s series it all came rushing back. OMG, THIS is the DT from Jessica Jones I’d been searching for! Loved loved loved it. And hot dayam don’t get me started on Good Omens. ❤❤❤❤
Why do fans at these panels often try to big themselves up with shoehorning in previous meetings with the star, or brag about something they have done? "Hi, my name is [insert name], I wrote a fanfic which you signed for me when we met at last year's event..." It all seems psychologically desperate and needy.
and then they go ahead and ask the same boring question of 'what was your favorite [x]?' The girl who asked about dreams he's had did it right, always ask something that could lead to a story
I BEG SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME IF EVER DAVID AND MATT SMITH COME TO SCOTLAND OR EDINBURGH EXACTLY, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE SEND ME A LINK TO TICKETS FOR IT OR GIVE ME THE ANNOUNCEMENTS OF WHEN THEY PERFORM OR ARE AT A LIVE SHOW HERE I REALLY HATE THEY DONT HAVE MEDIAS ALSO WHICH IS WHY IM WANDERING HOW PEOPLE GET TO MEET THEM🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
