We went down there in mid august for a long weekend(Friday to Sunday) and stayed in a guesthouse on the hill. Stayed at the Lyme Bay Guest house(hotel?), which was very nice and basic. Room was small, but nice and clean, just nice and quiet for a couple. There’s a nice cafe in dawlish, and a nice little cocktail bar that also serves up some pizza. The people who served us on 19th August 2023, really made us feel welcome. Tequila Twists were nice. The town itself is a very laid back sort of place.

So many wonderful places in the UK. Places I would have never known to exist if it were not for Living Walks. Love the falls and park. I just purchased an eBike. I'm probably going crash and burn on it. I'm going to try and make a video while riding on one of our beautiful paths in Sandpoint, Idaho. Next month is the Lost in the 50's car show. It usually rains. I'll try and do a video. Today it is 25 degrees outside with 12 - 15 MPH winds. (-3.8 Celsius) No bike riding today. Thank you for another wonderful video. What a nice town.

Ah well it makes it worthwhile to know they are being enjoyed for sure. Soooooo... you just purchased an eBike... argh I do hope you don't crash and burn on it!! What a good idea to make a video while riding on one of your lovely paths in Sandpoint. Looking forward to seeing that and the Lost in the 50's car show too if you do it, love those old cars, I'll never forget them in Havana!! Have fun with your new Bike HD!!

I’ve been to Dawlish a few times as my friend lives there what a beautiful place it is..To become a proper Dawlish resident you have to be thrown in the brooke thats what she told me

@@LivingWalks She moved there from Grimsby when she was 16/17..The friends she made told her to become a proper Dawlish girl you have to be thrown in the brooke so she agreed to it lol..That was over 24 years ago..
