I would argue that the adds on Morchie are a bigger problem. They are so incredibly fast and their dmg if you get in their circle is huge. Also trapping these adds cause 100k dmg to the whole party so trapping them all 5 at the same time is not advisable. We had the tank and healer deal with theirs instantly, and the dps to slow/stun/kite theirs for a little. They do get slower and sometimes just stop just to activate suddenly few seconds later. At the second round of adds you wont have enough traps anyway so kiting will be automatically mandatory using all the speedboosts/slows your party can bring.
Morchie is by far the hardest boss in that dungeon.... the adds are pretty fast, the trap do heavy dmg and multi Morchie is just insenity cuz she is a Gnome, and I have like what 10 sec to recognize the one without the mask. Since I dont play on a freaking TV, she is the size of like 2 cm on my screen, and I need to kite my add, heal everyone on the move and somehow find her without mask.... she looks freaking the same on all clones :D
Thanks for the video. Morchie and the last Boss were troublesome. Rest were fine. However you miss the big thing here. To reach Morchie we need to get past the puzzle where NPCs are throwing is back to the start and that is the toughest part of the run there....
So glad this is as hard as it is, really felt like a mini raid when my guildies and I went in blind. For me I love the difficulty and coordination required for raids but dont like pugs and its been hard for my guild to arrange a raid day where everyone is available so this gives me that raid feel but a lot easier to just log on and do with whatever few guildies are available.
Just did the dungeon and I can say it was a blast, was able to get the hang of the mechanics without too much trouble. Also as a blood dk you can actually solo most of the bosses in the dungeon, there are just 3 with mechanics that make soloing them impossible.
Although this is a great guide, I wish more guides like this would also cover trash mobs. Especially for this dungeon where there's the no deaths achievement, making sure you're wary of trash mobs as well as bosses can be very important.
Honestly with Morchie alot of wipes for my groups were because of the super fast adds not the More Morchies mechanic. Even with CC we would get caught by them.
Morchie needs to get nerfed/fixed, The More problem timer is way too short to check every single add. organized group wiped multiple times on this boss just trying to figure out which one was the correct one. Morchie model is too small to see if they have a hat on from a distance. That boss will be a PUG killed unless someone figures out a WA to mark them, which I don't think can happen since Blizzard screwed us with the private aura's patch.
My group only killed her because the tank could solo the last 20%. Didn't have as much issue with any other boss. Even the last one is ok as long as you have one person handling the orb explosions.
I like the fight, I just wish that Morchie was larger during the more problems phase. My feedback was to increase Morchie’s size by like 25% during that phase. Otherwise I think it’s a pretty solid fight as long as you can manage the adds/traps.
@@patriousthefallenknight3185 iridikron is a dps check. Other than that as long as you don't fail mechanics, you're in. 430+ for easy run 425 might be challenging
I love the content and appreciate you putting this together but I can't watch them for too long as they feel like they are really frenetic. You can slow down your speech if feels like you are trying to go as quickly as possible which is not fun to go through.
Kelani, I love your videos and learn a ton. I am an older gentleman yet I main tank and raid lead a very casual raiding guild. During your DotI vid your toon seems to be saying the effect coming up, such as "frontal" or "Big AOE"...what does that? an addon or weakaura or setting? Secondly your vids show clearly what effect the boss is doing next on their nameplate. same question...Is this an addon, a weakaura or a setting? Thank you for any help you can give this old guy :)
You should definitely do it then. I'm sure you could find people here in the comment section who would be happy to help. The dungeon isn't difficult as long as people are aware of the mechanics. Assuming you play DPS you are welcome to join me and my friends. Even if you aren't well geared it's not an issue, we can manage. I'm not looking for anything in return, just offering to help. If you are interested please respond to this and we'll figure out a good time for all of us. Someone else offered to help too. If you are EU they can run it with you. If you're on a North American server, I can.
Definitely going to need about 420 ilvl and that’s pushing it so unless you’ve been raising you’d need a group able and willing to carry or wait until heroic in a month or 2
So I did this doing with LFD today and I did all bosses except Iridikron which I wiped on but my group got him so I got credit. Not too shabby for going in blind!
just finished the mega dungeon on mythic. Morchie is so hard to see wich one has no hat. i hope DBM get an update that marks the correct one or something. I once stood behind her thinking she didnt have a hat on untill i notice she had a tiny candle on her head and i was like O.o oh sh...BOOM...and we wiped. Its hard to see it with so many things going on. Also the last boss is tricky with not a lot of space to move around. Beside those 2 things, the dungeon was really fun. Recomend going and doing it with friends.
Last Boss was melting my 443 Item LvL Warrior Tank's HP. Killed him once rest of group did all the mech right but i dont think the average 420 or even 430 player could survive that boss. You pretty much need to out gear the place ATM in order to beat it. Don't go in looking for item upgrades or you are going to have a bad time.
Which phase was getting your tank melted. The portal guys spam cast spells so maybe they were all targeting your tank. I tanked it on my 441 paladin and it didn't feel threatening. Ran it again with 430 dh tank and it wasn't much trouble either.
I hope you know what colour blind means as it’s most often not that as it’s 2 shades of the same color here and said color is not often affected. By you I mean Kelani not you as if you’re color blind you know.
Hey Kelani can you make a guide on how to actually join a group to do the damn dungeon? I feel like the hardest boss right now is the WoW community of sweatlords wanting to do flawless runs...apperently my ilvl415 gear is no where near high enough to even talk to these beasts of legend
@@mossis666 Wrong. Did the full dungeon at 414 ilvl while the others were around 420ilvl. Few wipes to learn the fights, but definitely doable if they player knows how to play the game and their class.
Looks more complicated than I want to deal with in M+. Here's to hoping they nerf the heck out of it before its added to the rotation. (No desire to raid... or do stuff that is like raiding)
Did it with a pug last night. First boss had like 5 wipes, second like 4, galakrond 1 shot, iridikron 2, Tyr 3, morchie took like 8 or 9, battlefield 2, deios took like 10 and I actually soloed the last 10%. It’s not solely mechanics as Deios hits like a truck so undergeared or moderate healers and tanks might have issues. His orbs can literally be handled by 1 person.
For pur group, we trapped the first wave of adds on Morchie, then the next time she did it, there was one puddle. So we all ran around, then she did her breath, then summoned more adds, THEN the puddles. Like wtf Morchie.
@johnj4471 yeah, I just wish the mechanics flowed better instead of overlapping. Perhaps we just had bad luck. I was on my priest 424 I lvl. So we want tooo geared
Morchie isnt @easy lol. The spike damage from the trap explosions is super high, and there are times where Morchie will free them from stasis SECONDS after they are stunned. Whole boss is a mess. Add in the dungeon also has terrible add mechanics notably the beyblades with zero cast indicator.
Oh goodness, we tried and it was a disaster going in blindly. You can NOT stand still... I am NOT cut out for this dungeon - at all. Heroic sounds good especially for players who do not run high M+.
Morchie is too unpredictable and therefor the hardest, imo. Literally the only way of knowing which one to stand behind is either to carefully and slowly look at each one, to look for helmets, or just let other people do that and follow where everyone is running. The boss doesn't give you enough time to figure out which one is the right one. It'd probably be easier to just pop defensives, stand in the middle and heal as hard as you can. Lame fight in an otherwise solid dungeon.
That’s why it is being released as a heroic dungeon in 10.1.7. Everyone wins. People who want a mild challenge get it and folks who want to experience the story can without fear of the difficulty.
@@CarrotCannonwhat fun is it to go against enemies that don't fight back what's the difference between that and a training dummy. It feels much better when the fight and danger us real and you overcome like a real battle would be with your group.
