Even as a Warhammer noob, I can see how incredible and expansive this mod is. One of the best I've ever played. Massive props to all the talented people who've contributed to Unification. Also, new editorial coming up in a few days. Pizza Tower lore analysis. Keep an eye out.
You sir are the best RU-vidr in the biz...thank you for your content and time spent on your craft whether it's a hobby or your main bread and butter.you are appreciated keep it up man.
You totally need to look at Warhammer 40k Mechanicus. I bet you get some enjoyment out of it and it has probably the bet and most unique OST in all of Warhammer^^
As joyous as this all is, my inner geek is compelled to point out that Sisters of Battle are their own Imperial faction representing the state religion, and they do not cross over with Space Marine legions. There's also no Chaos Sisters. It's so uncommon, even in the full scope of the lore, that the idea has almost never even been brought up in an official capacity (and yes I am aware of the recent galactic murder curse technically making some). Doesn't stop a mod from including them, but this mod brings together a lot of canon-defiling things. Also, because this misconception could stay with you for years: Slaanesh is about all kinds of gross extremes, not big sex and goth babes. The Dark Eldar is the main place for that, even if the Daemonettes may be better known. Official human-like Slaanesh units tend to have more monstrous features than those of this mod.
Plenty of room for goth babes nonetheless within a slanneshi faction, that kind of haunting beauty or twisting beauty is pretty slanneshi. Daemonette's exist for a reason after all, really my own Slanneshi army is litterally me painting them more angelic or perfect, the mirage, the beauty that dazes one's mind. The grand lie, with a few imperfections to showcase how they really are not what they say they are.
When I think of Warhammer stuff, I think of Eldar Banshees. They are masked warrior ladies with terrifying screams while fighting. I love their designs, and the ladies themselves had me interested.
Glad to find someone else who’s super into the necrons. If you like infinite and the divine definitely check out the two Twice dead king books which is a little heavier than the infinite and divine but still a fantastic read. There’s also the Novel Severed which is one of the most emotionally touching pieces of 40k lit I’ve read. That’s pretty much all the necron books though, not many but all bangers especially compared to most warhammer books.
I feel like I can confidently say that the majority of your fans/consistent viewers LOVE your more chill and unedited let’s plays. At least for me personally, a couple of the vids that are now unlisted were definitely comfort vids I’d thrown on in the background if I was playing something or just outside smoking. You’ve got a solid personality, Charlie, and I think a lot of us like watching whatever content you post
My adventure with the WH40k was super fast - ust put together and painted only one set of Necron warriors, then made plans to paint some vehicles next. But then saw the price and quickly noped out. But videogames? That's a different story.... Dawn of War 1 with expansion pack (pre-DLC era) was so good I've bought them at release. Even though I'm not a big fan of RTS genre. Mods are great too... RIP FileFront and all those old goodies lost forever.
I love seeing your enthusiasm for a game that also was a huge part of my childhood, and also your enthusiasm as you delve into the setting since I was already on the 40k train when I started playing Dawn of War. Keep up the good work Uncle Rabbitholes.
I Highly recommend The Last stand Mode in Dawn of war 2 retribution! Been playing it every year since 2012, It still holds up! You can also still Find people to Q with at ay time of day.
I did expect rabbit to be playing dawn of war it is crazy because i just got a gaming laptop to play all the dawn of war games too and I also likes the necrons
Bruh warhammer its not rabbithole its a black hole. Btw im still getting over how orcs make stuff work just by believing in it. And how they come from mushrooms. And how the necrons got screwed. And how badass salamanders are.
