I realize I'm 3 years late, but I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Light and airy conversation. Mini concert while interacting with fans answering questions and taking musical requests to show case Dawn's whistle notes. This was a fun interview. Hope you can do another interview with Dawn 'the voice" Robinson. She is so pleasant and fun. They laughed and I laughed.
I will always love, love, love Dawn's voice. Its soft yet having the ability to hit high and whistle notes, amazing. Will always support you even with me being blocked on IG.
This was an awesome and creative interview, I’ve never seen any interview based around songs and actual singing along. And then to get DAWN to sing during the interview! Great job!
"RUNAWAY LOVE" IS HANDS DOWN MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ENVOGUE SONG OF ALLLLLL TIME & MY GIRL DAWN'S PART SET THAT THING OFF TO ANOTHER LEVEL BOY❕ THAT ULTRA HIGH NOTE OF "TAKE MEEEEE" WAS OTHER WORLDLY, IT PUTS ME IN A 🧘🏾♀️TRANCE🧘🏾♀️ EVERY TIME I HEAR IT (Even tho back when the song came out, I listened to it probably 25-30 x's/day). "THE QUEEN OF ENVOGUE, MADAME DAWN ROBINSON" IS THE PERSONALITY, THE CHARISMA, THEE EXCITEMENT, THE FIRE, THE FLARE, THE BEAUTY & THE SENSUALITY, WHICH IS WHY SHE IS BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT, THE FAVORITE OF ENVOGUE FANATICS💯‼️‼️‼️
Omg when she does Don't Mess With My Man, once a fiyah bop, always a fiyah bop. I still requested that song in clubs in Germany 10 years after its release.
This is the most amazing interview, she's so candid and outspoken, so entertaining. However as much as i adore Dawn, i think she needs to get over the fact Terry did a soloalbum in 95 and she did not. I actually can understand the record company, En Vogue were huge worldwide, Terry's album did not sell that much...so if the one member didn't make that much money for them as a soloartist and the group is much more lucrative, they don't want to do another soloalbum with another member but rather focus on the group again, especially since they had already taken such a long break. Don't Let Go was huge! Worldwide! So another En Vogue album was needed, not another soloalbum. It's a business for them afterall.Obviously i don'T know all that behind of the scenes stuff of which managers etc. wanted her out of the group but it always seemed really strange how they'd want the lead singer of their biggest hit out right after that song smashed.
Dawn said she was the youngest member of En Vogue. SHE COULD NOT BE 14 YEARS OLD WHEN MINNIE PASSED IN "79.HER SON WERE THSAME AGE AND WE ARE OLDER THAN DAWN!
@@bowling4clarity817 So she was born 1965? Because she said before she was 21 when she heard Hold On on the radio for the first time, so something doesn't add up haha Wikipedia doesn't know either
