It's your faith that makes your channel a peaceful corner of the internet. Lovely to be with you this Advent season, Anna. Many blessings to you, Tommy and Benny.
Happy Advent season, Anna! I am really looking forward to your vlogs again this year. I am a fellow Christian, and I always appreciate your focus on your Catholic traditions and the true meaning of CHRISTMAS.
Catching up on my Vlogmas! I love watching yours every year and seeing your German traditions. I also so appreciate your focus on Christian homemaking and on Jesus. I agree with you that without celebrating Jesus why have Christmas I don’t know why people have CHRISTmas.
I did the same thing for my Advent calendar. I confess I bought *new* minis, but then I gave them to my husband to put in bags for my calendar. I'm out of town right now, but when I get home, I get to open several days' worth to catch up to the rest of the family. Super excited to seeing the minis up close again and to decide how I will use them.
Finally getting to your Vlogmas, sister! Fellow Catholic and while I love other more secular Vlogmases, it’s such a lovely change seeing our Faith lived out in yours with proper Advent. 💜 I pray you and your husband have a blessed Advent and a merry Christmas! 🎄
Thank you Anna! Having watched your Vlogmas last year, I know I'm going to love watching again this year. I love the religious content too, just as a reminder of what this season is all about.
Happy Advent Anna, I watch you from south Wales in the UK and I too am a catholic and love your views on Christmas and the Advent season. As it happens, I will be in Berlin from 9th to 12th December. I will be attending an Anglican Carol Service on the 9th at St George’s church. I was there last year and it was very special. I would like to thank you for doing Vlogmas, I know it takes a lot of time and effort but be assured that it means a lot to us viewers to share your life during that time. Bless you and thanks, Lin
@@annaknitter I seem to remember hearing you sing a Christmas carol a couple of years ago on your Vlogmas - you have a lovely voice. I hope you have a blessed Christmas, Lin
@@annaknitter yes, you are right. I love Christian carols more than Christmas songs. Sadly they are not heard as much these days. The holly and the ivy is beautiful but my favourite is Adeste Fideles. Oh come all ye faithful in Latin. I remember it so well from my childhood.
Hi Anna. I am so glad RU-vid suggested your Adventure video. As a Christian as well, I am loved your first vlog. It warms my heart to see you celebrate the true meaning of this season! I have subscribed to your channel and looking forward to this Advent season. ❤😊
Oh Anna, thank you for being so real about the meaning of advent, fellow Christian here, I cannot wait to watch a vlogmas that celebrates the season for its true meaning (with some knitting thrown in of course!) ❤❤❤
Hello Anna, actually that's exactly what I enjoy in your vlogs, your life as a homemaker. I love it, it's so relaxing and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.
Anna, I am so pleased you are going Vlogmas. I love seeing the traditions of others around Christmas and Advent. As a Catholic I appreciate and love being able to see your religious celebrations. Happy Advent xxx
I may have to find a black market yarn dealer for those beautiful Christmas yarns! Also, signature still has some needles and they’re discounted. Still crazy expensive but better.
Hello from the south coast of the UK I am new to your channel and am looking forward to your vlogmas , it will be lovely to see your faith content along side your homemaking and crafting 😊
I will certainly join you for this Catholic Advent vlogmas. Your knitting projects will be lovely to watch grow. I will be knitting along with you my vest that I didn't complete last winter. Thank you and God Bless you .
Hi Anna, I look forward to enjoying your Advent vlogmas. I'm also Catholic and appreciate that you treat Advent as a preparation time to Christmas, not just all one season! I'm also looking forward to learning about some of your German traditions ( Im in the USA) God bless, Tricia
I always feel cozy and Christmassy watching your vlogmass. I do have do have question...being of German descent, we never put our tree up until Christmas eve, in apparent German tradition. Do you do this? I don't remember if German friends told me they did this when I lived there. I am very happily looking forward to the next month of vlogmass with you.
We use real trees in Germany and so we can’t put the trees up so early. Usually - I am sure 95% of Germans having a tree - put it up on the 23rd or 24th. We make a difference between advent and Christmas and the tree is a big thing.
I'm so happy you're doing vlogmas again. Your 1st vlogmas was the 1st vlogmas I ever watched and haven't missed a season! Your content is so joyful, inspirational and interesting! Thank you so much!!
Greetings from Latvia! Our traditions historically are originated from Germany a lot but assimilated in our own way. So it’s very interesting to me watch your catholic vlogmas although I am lutheran myself. I’m homemaker as well but not very organized one and with 7 people in our family so I am interested to hear more about your bullet journaling. Maybe I could try it next year or even sooner.
My husband is a lutheran Protestant too. 🤗 Being organized with two people at home is easy youngsters seven! That’s a lot to keep up with. My new bullet journal for 2024 arrived so maybe I can film a bit how I set it up for one Vlogmas episode. It’s really ver helpful.
I enjoyed your vlog last year and I am looking forward to this years. I finally finished your Advent cowel from last year with all the wonderful things like recipes and songs you shared each day made it very special.
I'm Sabbath observant so catching up on your vlogmaas. Love the color way for socks. I ran to your website only to see it's sold out:(. Oh well I have your 2 Christmas ccolorways to keep me busy
Hi Anna, I was just thinking about your vlogmas from years ago when you met up with Carina at the coffee shop to knit your socks together. I remember she was pregnant at the time. Happy Advent 🙏🏻🕊🙏🏻🕊
Such a lovely surprise to watch you twice today - first the podcast episode and now Vlogmas! As we approach the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, I am looking forward to spending time with someone who knows its importance. After watching you, I attempted to make some traditional lebkuchen, with mixed success, so I will keep trying. Do you make your own lebkuchen?
Happy Advent 2023!! This was inspiring and wonderful. What was the name of the yarn you used for the advent socks? as well what was the name of the advent cowl on Ravelry you started? Thank you for being a part of the start of the season.
If you mean the socks out of my hand dyed yarn the name is „The Holly and the Ivy“ but it’s sold out already. And the cowl I am knitting is called Fiddly Bits.
@@debraeaton5184 oh I understand now. The Advent calendar socks. The yarn is from www.Buttinette.de but the don’t ship to many countries. They sets are called Christmas socks sets (Weihnachten Sockenwolle are good keywords for the German website).
