I've hit that opening tee shot more times than I care to admit; fences, signs, forward tee markers, golf carts, pump houses, you name. They're all fair game of the first tee.
@HamAndTees FIR is only for fairways hit in regulation for anything other than a par 3. Same stat as what you're saying but just wanted to correct you lol
