We have a “camp” in Pennsylvania next to the Allegheny River and a crick that’s called Lowery Run. My family is from Pittsburgh PA and we say crick☺️ I hope the mud doesn’t get worse for you guys! That looks like a good place for me to slip and fall on my rump😂💗💗

A “crick” is something you get in the back of your neck or back Lol!! Yeah I remember that decent down to route 9 as being down right dangerous!!!

VT and the Long Trail are great! You’ll start to get some nice views and steeper climbs. Think of coming back one day to pick up on the LT where you will split off from the AT. That northern section is amazing! The mountains start getting really interesting now!
