The Sheltie Carousel by Dan Deurbrouck
This isa nice little Schottische. Dan is my next door neighbour here in Sanford Manitoba and we used to play together in an old-time dance band for many years. He is one of the best drummers and an excellent allaround musicians. We  both have sheltie dogs, and we often take them to the dog park together. One day when we were there this past winter they started sniffing each other like dogs do and they were going in a circle. I commented that it looked like a sheltie carousel and thought that would make a great name for a Fiddle tune.  The next time he came over I showed him my mandolin and he played it for me. I instantly loved it and the fact that he wanted to put that name on it.
