I get the biggest kick out of you when you speak of eating. I know exactly that you r dealing with!

Love those big, bad-ass, trucks!

It takes everyone to make the harvest machine work . From the women who make the meals , to the auger cart drivers who shuttle the grain , the semi drivers who take it to storage , and last but not least the combine drivers who carefully drive the combines thru the field straight and skillfully .

Tracy we all know that your not just sitting in the combine all day no matter how easy you make it look there is more stress on you watching and knowing whats going on its no easy Thanks for the ride

Hats Off to the Cook! I remember back before Big Round Bailers and We Hauled Square Bales and we Ran 2 Trucks and Crews alternating Nights and Days and My Sister Cooked 1 Meal for us!

Thanks for another great video Tracey. So interesting and enjoyable to watch. Your food tables out there are wonderful. Lots of good food and a big variety. You are fed very gone out there. The drone footage was awesome. Really gives you a great perspective of the area and the fields. Thanks for the drone footage. The fields you are working in are absolutely stunning in size-so huge!!!! Seems like they go on forever. Can you imagine that size of a field in Iowa corn-wow!! The scenery and the mountains are incredible and beautiful. Love the videos you do for us Tracey. The fire truck is a new one on me. Heard of them before but never saw one in operation with the combines. The wind you had on this day was really blowing hard. I could see the wind blowing Jim’s shirt. Wow. What a joy it is to be along on this journey with you. Love those easy chairs in the area where you eat, good to sit and relax in- wonderful. About it I guess. Remember to pack a little more in your lunch cooler, don’t want you to run out. Heartfelt thanks for today’s video. Absolutely made my day!!!!!!!! Take care and be safe. From England, This is the forth cutting season I've followed you both. Really good to see you're both keeping well. I enjoy watching all the different machinery working.

Well sitting in a combine a lot of places around the world, is like watching a good movie :) And in Big sky country it's even better it seams. And good food just makes it so much harder not to enjoy it while it lasts.

Nice drone footage when you can. A great perspective. Hot, dry wind and the wheat must be very dry. I know the elevators have penalties if grain is too wet. Is there a minimum dry? All I know about grain is getting it into cows and horses. Some molasses helps.

WOW big country there yes thank you Katie you make a great team with Tracy,yes your Grandfather sure would enjoy seeing those machines of today,can they get any bigger there has to be a limit,on Jim’s multiplication 50’ 2.5 times bigger than the 750s imagine a 125’ header in the future,I think they cannot get much bigger some now rocking nearly 800 hp engines Thank again 👍🏼

"If this trailer's rockin'"..............Montana winds are to blame

It's a hot one here in MN today also. It's 90 degrees & the humidity is terrible. You can just about squeeze the water out of the air it feels like it. Those homemade buns look exactly like the ones my Mom used to make. Man I miss those buns.

That was a regular smorgasbord!! That made me hungry!! They have quite the set up with a kitchen in the barn. It's fixing to get real hot here in central Oklahoma next week with highs in the 100s. Stay cool.

I would be that way too Tracy, if the food was there l would have eat it. The hardest part would be making it last all day and then you get the smorgasbord every night for supper.😮

7/26, 5am 34 degrees here in Deary, Idaho. Past 20 days was 90 or above, of which last 7 were 102-105 degrees. Been all kinds of fires, man an lightning caused. Love watching your videos seeing how I am an ol farmer myself. Also trucked garbonzo beans from Highwood and everywhere else in Montana. Be safe an have fun.

We farm in the north east Columbia Gorge area of Oregon and the terrain mirrors where you are in Montana including the large gully washes, those washes hold some of the biggest Mule Deer you’ll find in the country. I’d imagine the same to be true in that area, it would be interesting to know if the family hunts and if they have any monster head mounts they’d share with us along with the story behind the taking.

I would love to do what you’re doing someday. I do miss wheat harvest. Only problem I see where you’re at is the food. I’d only gain 4lbs per day and weight 400 when I left. I like to eat and that’s my kind of food.

That is a great job if only for the food! Yesterday (Thursday) here at 6:00 we had clear blue sky's and wind about 9pm a storm came in and we got 1/2 of rain by 11. nice calm smoky day today. We are about500 miles south-west of you in northern Utah.

Very strong wind, but fortunately, Jim has a more than an ample supply of rocks in his pockets, so he won't blow away! 😉

These machines are monsters compared to the 1st one I ever ran. An A model silver seeder with 14ft header. Thought it was really something at 14 years old. The food looked like it was fit for royalty!!

farmers around me was hving trouble with down wheat and they was cutting so low they was picking up deer crap

What width of headers. Do you prefer the draper headers or auger headers.

Is the ground you’re cutting a family operation or are all of you custom cutting?
