Day 3: Kristiansund, Trondheim and Rørvik 

After an early morning stop at Kristiansund, we arrived at Trondheim. The southbound ship, M/S Polarlys, had just left the quay before we arrived.
There is a three hour layover at Trondheim, so I went, with one of my fellow passengers, to visit the Nidaros Cathedral and the old Royal Palace.
Back under way, we headed back own Trondheimsfjorden before heading north towards Rorvik. After passing the entrance to the fjord, we took a slight detour to visit the famous Kjeungskjær Fyr.
This stretch is one of the open sea passages (Folda) but, as on day 2, we had a nice, smooth voyage.
