Day 4 & 5 ALONE in Lanzarote! Solo holiday vlog! 

As a 45 year old single woman, I admire your courage to holiday alone. I take myself out on "dates" to the cinema and to restaurants alone etc but have yet to do a holiday. Thank you for inspiring me to book something for later in the year Amanda X

I'm 56 and arrived on my solo holiday in Lanzarote last night. I've done lots of solo holidays and after the initial feeling that everyone thinks you're a weirdo I have a fab time. Do as little or as much as I want and I love it!! Happy travels beautiful lady 😘

I started holidaying alone 4 years ago in my 40’s… I absolutely love it and wish I’d done it sooner… trick is to just embrace being on your own… you don’t have to have someone there! Your content is awesome and you’ll defo encourage others to do it 😊

I’ve struggled with alcoholism for the last 2 years. I’m 30 and have found that you tend to become a bit of a recluse when you become sober because you tend to isolate. I’ve been afraid to leave Ireland on my own for the whole period but this has honestly helped me so much. Thank you ❤

It's okay to get sad sometimes. When I solo travel I experience a whole range of emotions including sadness. It's part of life I know it will pass.

I travelled to New Zealand from UK when I was 22 to stay with family and I was proud of doing that alone. Actually doing a whole holiday is another level. Another subscriber added here. I can relate to this so hard! I’ve just come back from a solo holiday to Cyprus. The part I found most difficult was meal times as that’s when everyone’s sat with someone else. Also evenings becuase I don’t drink atm (medication) so I found having a cuppa tea at the bar not as fun and you don’t obviously get the confidence then! I’d do it again for sure! Loved lying by the pool with my book. AirPods are an amazing idea for the restaurants! Loved these! ❤xxxxx

I could watch your vlogs all day. I think your so brave and I honestly envy you being able to do this. I’ve been with my other half for 24 years, I’m still only 41. As much as I love him I do miss having no responsibilities. Anyway your so easy to watch and very likeable. Your stunning by the way, I heard you dis your appearance a couple of times but you really are a gorgeous woman. I have a suggestion for future videos. Why don’t you do a group solo holiday. I know that doesn’t make sense but hear me out. You could advertise for any single girls wanting to go away on their own but with the safety of a small group. You would all be strangers and you could chose to do your own thing or meet up in the evenings. A great way to introduce people into a solo holiday and a way to make new friends and take some of the loneliness away. I think that would make great tv as well. Your destined for own travel show, I think your fab xx

I've been on holiday 3 or 4 times on my own within the UK, but not abroad. I choose to be single and love the freedom. Tempted to book a holiday abroad now. I like Lanzarote and usually stay at the Be Live Lanzarote beach hotel in Costa Teguise....love it there! 😀

Went on my first solo holiday last year as mate let me down couple of months before hand and I went to Lanzarote and loved it I understand what you mean about loneliness even thought your away and enjoying yourself theirs just certain times where would be nice to have someone there with you.

i live alone, work alone, and i'm quite content, so i know i can do "alone" okay, it's just stepping out of my comfort zone to travel abroad alone that is the hard bit but i'm sure once i've done it once..... i will find it easier :)

I love Lanzarote Playa Blana. Firstly keep doing what your doing enjoy your life, we all get lonely sometimes but dont be in a rush to just make do. Secondly that situation with the 2 guys absolutely bizarre i think they were trying they're luck and came a cropper

When you are in Lanzarote set the time zone on your phone to London and not automatic. I know that sounds stupid but it will stop the problem of your phone from changing like you described at the airport.

hearing you mentioning mamma mia, if you really want to feel like you in that, visit where its was filmed, skiathos and skopelos, you'll love all the scenary, the people are fantastic. i went before it was filmed and since, and even though theres more people visiting they still seem to keep that more traditional vibe. fair play for doing any trip by yourself, the only thing i ever find annoying is when you get to the airport and you need to go to the loo and have to take every thing with you, well i do as i go hand luggage only.
