I remember when I first went on holiday by myself. I went to Kos, Greece for 2 weeks. I actually lied to a few people and told them I was going with a friend. Silly really looking back on it but at the time I felt like a right billy-no-mates going on holiday on my own. lol I had just gone through a break up earlier in the year so I needed to get away. So glad I did because I loved it. I went away on my own nearly every year after that. I've even had a couple of solo holidays even though I have a partner now. There's been a couple of times where we couldn't get the same time off work so we decided to have our own little holiday alone instead. To anyone thinking about travelling solo, JUST DO IT!
Just read this and amazing to hear ! I’m having problems to say the least with my partner and decided to go away on my own to Spain just a week but very nervous gonna look weird on my own as do wanna go out on the night and have drinks etc but is a nerve wracking thing
The number one thing about solo holidays; Absolutely no one looks at you. No one cares you're on your own. People are too interested in themselves to care.
I am giving you girl. As a single woman in her late 30’s. I have no responsibilities. So why not travel. I’m off in a solo holiday in July to another state that I’ve never been too (I’m from Australia) and I can’t wait. I reckon you’d be an awesome travel buddy.

Yes ; new here : I go away on my own love it ; you meet nice people, most of the time ; even flew to Gran Canaria last may to watch a concert alone that was the best thing I’ve ever done ; going away next month for two weeks alone , can’t wait

I go to Lanza a year and have been going since 1993. If you stay in PDC ,Tegiuse or Matagorda. Just come out and get a Taxi. It’s only €16 and you be at your hotel in 10 or 15 mins.The coach takes forever,even sometimes when we get it included we still just get a Taxi. You can do a full island tour which takes in most of the attractions. Local buses are cheap and will give change just use €10 notes or less.
I can’t understand why your single , your a gorgeous girl with a sparkling personality and great sense of fun , I hope you find a wonderful partner who is deserved of you , I hope the world 🌎 gives you all you could wish for , before I was married and single I used too travel alone too Greece , always felt a bit weird not knowing anyone , but once you meet a few people it becomes such a blast although I think it can be difficult for single girls .

I'd love to do a solo holiday.....but I have no confidence. Plus I'd panic if I get lost or don't know where I'm going or will I have enough money, will I get back home etc 😂😂
