Pilotų sprendimu ir būsimomis sąlygomis rugpjūčio 14 d. dienos tikslas buvo Pirna aerodomas. Pakeliui į Pirnos aerodromą pilotai susidūrė su lietaus siena, dėl to nutūpė Görlitz aerodrome netoli Lenkijos - Vokietijos sienos, Vokietijos pusėje. Šiandien pilotams pavyko nuskrieti 170 km. bei pasiekti didžiausią 190-200 km/h greitį ir 1100-1300 m. aukštį. Vidutinis greitis šiomis sąlygomis siekė vos 45-55 km/h.

The pilots' decision and the future conditions for the day of 14 August were Pirna Aerodrome. On the way to Pirna, the pilots encountered a wall of rain and landed at Görlitz aerodrome near the Polish-German border, on the German side. Today, the pilots managed to fly 170 km and reach a maximum speed of 190-200 km/h and an altitude of 1100-1300 m. The average speed in these conditions was only 45-55 km/h.
Experienced Lithuanian gliders Algirdas Šimoliūnas, Sakalas Uždavinys and Ignas Bitinaitis will aim to fly across Europe in gliders without a motor this summer. Three pilots have completed glider flights across the Baltic States (2016) and a flight to the Black Sea, Ukraine (2018). This time, the pilots set themselves the most significant challenge - to reach the Atlantic Ocean washing the shores of Portugal with gliders and become the first Lithuanians to fly across the old continent without a motor. They have quite a long way to go - 4,000 km.
