Like many will... Todays youth is a totally different kettle of fish to the youth of previous conscription. Your prisons aren't big enough to house all the non-compliers. And they will know that.
Said with all the conviction and empathy of an AI. We have generations of young people not getting the opportunities they deserve because of 14 years of your party mate.
@@vanish9522 Compulsory unpaid volunteering outside of the military for one weekend per month is slavery. Community service is what we give to criminals.
Well obviously, look at Skaro compared to us. * Zero unemployment * No crime * Clean * 0 Daleks in sick beds * Strong military * Lots of opportunities for young people (extermination or slavery, which is two more choices than we get) * Leaders chosen based on competence. * Leaders who fail are exterminated, rather than reshuffled. * No tories. * They were at least honest that they wanted the Thals destroyed instead of dancing around it for decades with pathetic Thal-Sabotage policies.
No chance are they coming for my grandchildren , they are not for sale in this pathetic excuse of a goverment. Are they not meant to public servants not rulers xxxx
There is no such thing in China now though, although there are always elements in Chinese society pushing for similar things, just like here. Unlike here, they are NOT the head of the sitting government.
Yes let’s get the young people to do all the unpaid work possible. Let’s waste their personal time for Sunak’s pleasure. Mr. Smart ass Sunak, I bet your children won’t be expected to take on anything like this when they come of age.
His whole campaign feels like a poor man's version of 'The Thick of It', from the soggy start to fear mongering the breath after announcing the election, to visiting the Titanic shipyards and literally building a red brick wall 🤣
Especially when there country has already been sold off and there is no discernable identity or culture to actually defend. An establishment like ours constantly emphasising to the indigenous population that their race and way of life is utterly worthless and out dated then forcing them to go and die defending it will just not work.
It's an home goal as the younger ones will be voting .....against it. He thought he would appeal to the pensioners, boomers and "MEGAs" oh and of course all the fascist right wing racists.
We have allowed the pollution of Uk rivers and seas. Asset stripped the country for the benefit of our shareholers and party donors. Created a wealth of poverty not seen since the great depression. Crime is out of control. Rwanda policy that would potentially cost more than the annual budget of some small countries. Increased the cost of living crisis for the benefit of big business. Targeted the poor and disabled for financial sanctions while we swan around in luxury helicopters and airplanes. But in Sunak's mind all is is well with the Uk.
I love how the justification is that it will help teenagers socialise, as if the army is just a bit of banter and a social club. I feel like giving teenagers places to hang out that don't require spending rediculous money, and encouraging people to stop calling the police on kids all the time would be more effective.
because you have to assume boomers on polling day will just forget everything and vote for the tories. Makes labour not complacent and the tories do stupid things like these
@@stevedavy2878 What's even the point of electing someone to beat the tories if they're just going to govern like one? Sunak keeps digging himself deeper and instead of capitalising on it, Starmer keeps pandering to voters who will never like him. He's on his way to a thumping majority, and instead of promising some real change to go along with it, he's watering down the platform and throwing minorities under the bus. I'm not saying he should take the election for granted, but I'd prefer a prime minister that actually has a spine.
@@dumbl4421 personally, I like to at least give a man a chance before judging him. Ive live a large part of my life under Tories, I think Im safe to judge their shameful record.
I just came up with a brilliant new policy idea everyone: Litter picking for over 65s. Let's get all the useless old eaters and boomers who I see every morning queuing up outside the bakery for their artisan bread, out in the English sunshine, interacting with the local youths and making lovely contributions to their local communities! Oh, and it's compulsory -- if you refuse to participate then your state pension payments WILL be suspended. :)
Referendum 2016 stole opportunites from all, young and old. This wally supported Brexit and now offers shoddy "compensation" in the form of compulsory volunteering. The shame of having such a man as our prime minister!
I would suggest no one join any of the military forces. Stay home as that is where you will be needed in the very near future. We all know its coming so be prepared.
Let's get real. We've another five weeks in purgatory. I don't know who's running this campaign, but even someone raised in an asylum's going to run out of this diabolical meme before then.
How does delivering prescriptions garner you skills exactly? Maybe if you are going to embrace a life as a pack mule, reminds me of when they forced people years ago to work for free in Poundland to gain the valuable skill of sweeping floors.
So let’s look at what else countries with national service have, shall we? Very small populations making it necessary to train almost everyone to be a reservist- ie Finland or Switzerland Generally high taxes on the rich so it doesn’t feel like young people are being used to fill the gap left by tax cuts Often, a situation where they are at risk. Finland for instance borders Russia. Often compulsory voting
There's a lack of opportunities because you've massively underinvested in the education system over the last 10 years. Then you legislated to allow businesses to hire foreign workers (from outside the EU) on 20% less pay then their UK born counterparts.
HAHA. The phone will ring and thousands of teenagers will rush up the nearest hill and drag down an old wild camper they think needs rescuing. It will be like the Green Cross Code, where kids dragged old people across the road who were only waiting for the bus.⛺
You can envisage the conversation between Sunak and Levido. Sunak: Okay guys.after our General Election message was a complete failure what is our next move to get the public to vote Conservative? Isaac any suggestions or thoughts? Levido: You could try National Service that would get voters on our side as the UK has a problem with Anti Social Behaviour which has been on the rise for the past 14 years. Sunak: That is it, that's a brilliant idea, Isaac I will brief our election campaign team to make a video. Levido: But, Sir I wasn't being serious when I suggested National Service, Sir if you go public with this you and the government will be publically humiliated, Sir, Sunak: Britain has an Anti-Social Behaviour problem and that hasn't got anything to do with all the services that we cut and closed down, it hasn't got anything to do with us telling police forces across the United Kingdom to slash their budget by 40%. It hasn't got anything to do with Pilicibg being reduced and it isn't our fault that thr United Kingdom has become lawless. That is The Labour Party’s fault, not ours. Levido: Sir you're going to be made a laughing stock and made to look like a clown. Sunak: Well Levido it can't be any worse than it already is can it?
You did it you fix it you volunteer for national service with the present parliamentarians sitting now .or better still why don’t you all shove off! (Thought not).
