If you are very unsure if a seed is ready or not but you want to make sure you save it, tie a mesh bag around the stem. That way when the seeds are ready to drop, you catch them in the mesh.

The new little plant you potted up is an annual in our area which is very hot in the summer and cold winters. This is a "pansy" and they like it cold. I have had pansies that bloom in the snow but they expire by the end of June. I love them too. And here's a tip: Roses love garlic and onion plants because they help keep the bugs away.

On the RU-vid CHANEL GOING SOLO IN FRANCE he just bought a small wood chipper for 700 Euros and it seemed easy to put together and worked well on the branches from a tree. He had to cut them smaller but it worked well. He ordered it on line. That would be helpful for your cut bushes. And would be easy to get down the steps to your house!

Your house missed you. It's was lovely to see how happy Cherie and Sergi were to have you back home. Those hand made nails, I'd keep every single one and maybe if you need a butchers block, clean them up and nail them in around the edge, or us them in shelving. There's so many things you could use them for. The Camellia pod just needs to be shocked into sprouting. You can trick it by removing it from the tree, put it in a stocking in the fridge for a few days to a week, then place it in a small jar or egg cup with water, as soon as you see roots plant it. Good to have you back 😊 xx

Isn’t cleaning the Ape a job for home so that you can concentrate on the house? When are the amenities being connected, you said September but we’re in October now?

I wonder if that extra tap is a run off of water from your cellar. That is why you have it build up in the pipes then disappears/runs out after a bit. I wonder on a rainy day you turn it on and see how much comes out. I am curious 🧐 why not ask one of your neighbours that have an older person living there.

Missed seeing the vlog every day….but now begins the clearing away of all the house rubbish as well as the garden piles…will make such a difference & good progress. Does the town have special rules for removing all of it? In the US some towns have special garbage pick up days, other places one is responsible to take it yourself to the town dump and recycling center. Good to see your plants coming along!

good you got the ape i so loved seeing them in italy and i so want one here in uk but have to make do with my luttle car. We all want to see the ape loaded up and stuff taken to the tip so we can see the beauty of your garden . I mean this comment in a nice way . Maybe good for you to introduce yourself to the neighbours and give them a contact number so if they need to come onto your land again they can ring and ask permission. i agree its not right they did that without asking . if you cant speak italian maybe give the contact number who is a friend and they can relay any message or coversation. You were at the house a week ago and there regulalry and plenty of time and opportunity for neighbours to come and seek permission. Just smile and say hello and give them a contact number as good to keep in good relation with neighbours (they were the ones who did wrong but just keep things nice and say heres a number you can ring if you need to speak with us urgently ) sergii qas telling fibs he so enjoyed the ape ride it was written all over the smile on his face
