@@GreenGardenGuy1 Have been threw a few hurricanes here in Texas. 4 plus hours from the coast as well several when I lived in South Florida, the storms may not be too bad, the recovery period after can be a pain
@@anthonyrizzitano9113 One of the reasons I built the house where I did is, lack of hurricanes. Despite hurricanes hitting the older Islands the Big Island has no history of direct hits. They brush by but the sea mount is too tall and cold water chills the storms. Here, they usually mean lots of rain. We are also set well for drainage so I'm not overly concerned. Hope you have a peaceful storm season.
I remember during the first covid 19 wave, they were inoculating the big cats at the Denver Zoo to protect them. One year old is pretty young for this stuff. It is worst on the young and old. I hope for wellness.
Looks like me and half of the Island. So many cases right now. Ellen gave it to me and I suspect I reinfected her. She has been sleeping all day again.
Aloha friend, just love Your channel, Howdy here from the east coast of south africa in the KwaZulu Natal region we have a Subtropical warm humid climate here, some of the fruits You grow in Hawaii, grow here too! New subscriber to Your Great yt channel!
Love it when cats talk. This thing is definitely trying to kill me but I'm still here. I kinda wish we had maintained some of the provisions for covid, especially in employment.
I'm glad you're getting better. When you get a chance can you please consider playing Soaring for us? You used to play it at the start of your videos and lately I've been nostalgic for the times you used to make raspberry pruning videos in the bay area.
I agree, the tanks need water. I use catchment only for fish and water lilies but the water in the tilapia tank was getting gross without some rain recharge.
I have been there and done that, they are good. I also love the SLO Brewery in San Luis, best steak sandwiches. Here in Puna, the location for fish and chips is Pahoa Fish Co.
It was a gag gift from my brother and his wife. You are not the first that have noticed it. We built the house from the ground up in 2007 so it hardly qualifies as historic. I am more historic than my house, just check out those wrinkles!
@@GreenGardenGuy1 I’ll email ya, but headed your way next month. Gotta figure out where we are moving to. I like Mountain View elevation, I’m East side all the way. 🙏 Any comments on your current internet provider? I need some connectivity, but i’m not sending huge files back-and-forth. Any advice, is appreciated.
@@Kinsington.Island Either Hawaiian telecom Fioptics or Spectrum Cable are great. The Fioptics is cheaper but may not stay that way. In either case you have to be near the lines to get it. I struggled for years on a DSL because there were no terminals for fiber optics. Chose the sight by internet if possible. Star link is very expensive.
I have been drinking whole milk kefir everyday for many months and that might be the reason I am without Covid. However I will be taking my Covid shot this fall. 😊. Just in case.
Kefir is a good probiotic. I'm afraid the only things that keep you safe are keeping out of contacted with infected people. The usual boring stuff like washing hands. The stuff is rather contagious. Lucky the current strain is nothing like the original though. If you missed out on a case of full blown Covid 19 you are so lucky. Some people get the stuff and show no symptoms but can carry it.
