less than a minute in right after Adriene said "sit nice and tall" i didn't realize but my video froze... i was dead ass sitting there in silence meditating for a few minutes like wow Adriene's so awesome having us dive right into it.. eventually after a while I peaked at the screen and realized my video was frozen! lol i trust Adrienne too much!

I found today’s practice difficult and frustrating, but I realise that this is okay. I need to remember that I’ve made it 8 days in a row, and that I can continue to make progress with each day.

This was the first of the series where I got stuck. I was tight, stressed and ended up sore and spitting venom by the end. Stillness, mindfulness, and tight backs of the legs are breaking me. I came back to day8 a few days later and was able to get through with a calmer mind going in. I'm going to practice day8 several times a week, I want to work up to being able to do this on a bad day. I hated the first time through, restarted it and the first thing Adrienne says is "Don't Hate"... I've got a lot to learn lol

It took me 8 days of yoga practice (and I'm completly new at this) to finally smile. Every other day when Adrienne told us to smile I was like: nope, I'm not at work, I won't force myself to smile. Today I FINALLY smiled on my own, happy, relaxed and greatful.

Day 8 was great. Today was like an emotional cleansing. I cried on the floor at the end a little bit. I am feeling more present each day. That inner child, teacher, guide is coming out spontaneously. I'm enjoying this. En joy ing life more. Thank you. Yoga is not just for girls. Us guys have a lot to learn here and now. Thank you thank you thank you.

Yep me too, it was the stuff about going back to when we were kids and it's all about you...I think, Adrienne is like a hug we need sometimes :) So funny how we all think it's just us. I went down the comments right away to see what others said and sure enough, there were others like me! ❤

I feel this. Growing up, yoga was my favorite thing on Wii sports. Years later, I think about it everyday and never do it. Finally, we're locked up and I told myself "no more excuses."

Gorgeous! I love how you balance these videos. "OK so we've done some harder work over the last couple of days, time for some restorative practice". It's what makes you such an great teacher. This is literally the first time in my 25,5 years that I engaged my body for 8 days in a row - because this actually makes me feel better afterwards!! And it's not easy - my abs still sting when I cough from 2 days earlier! Thank you so much Adriene! :)

It's surprising for me that I can reach for my ankle in the pigeon pose very easily, but when it comes to some kind of a forward fold I can't place my hands further than on the thighs... It's like bending back is the easiest thing in the world, but bending forward is impossible. I hope it'll get better with time :)

Intuit day 6! There is something so magical about this practice: the stretches, deep breaths, music, even Adriene’s outfit instantly make you so relaxed. This was the best episode so far. Felt so much conennection and peacefulness but you also brought smile to my face with your playful comments. My favourite day so far :) It's incredible how 30 minutes on the mat can change so much in my thinking and feeling. I feel so peaceful and relaxed and am really proud of what I could achieve today, even though I couldn't do some of the poses. Thank you so much for this beautiful practice :) Namaste :)

The guidance to get into crow allowed me to finally do it! For 3 seconds ha ha ha. 🎉and doing pigeon with the leg up by looking at my back foot really helped get me there.

Granted I did take a long break from yoga so I was rusty to begin with when I started the 30 Days (love you Adriene!), but I'm pretty much exactly where I've always been with crow... super shaky, lucky if I get a toe off the ground. at 3:01 you said "bringing the focus in towards your breath" and I burped so loud! For a second I felt really rude, but realised I only feel that way, 'cause it's ingrained in me to feel that way! Then I smiled and felt a release. Adrienne, your yoga is inspiring and life changing. I have started doing your challenge, plus another video every day. I don't know when I last felt so great. a gift, timed perfectly. Today I was holding on to a lot of sadness. These poses opened my heart and allowed me to release that sadness. It's ok to be sad sometimes, but how wonderful to have a tool to open the heart and confront those feelings, rather than allowing them to fester. Yoga has so much potential to connect the body, heart and mind, if one is prepared to move into the difficulty, whether that challenge is in the body mind or heart.

After today's practice when I laid down at the end I was suddenly overcome with emotion and began to sob for probably 5 minutes. I'm not sure how but I opened up a part of me that I normal keep stuffed down with emotions and stress I do not what to deal with. Thank you Adrienne.

Was kinda hoping there'd be at least one of these I could hang with, and this totally delivered. I feel better than I have in months. Hung out in extended child's pose for the second round of squatting and the LOLNO pose (oops, I mean 'crow pose'); I don't know if there's a better counter-pose, but a nice long child's pose always feels good. Thank you for an awesome practice, Adriene.

I live in Istanbul, Turkey so i recieve the #30DaysOfYoga videos at 8am. I like starting the day with yoga and looooved today's practice so much. I think i will come back to this session a lot in the future :))

I have never felt so fantastically amazing in my life. Managed to do the one legged pigeon pose easily, really struggled with some others but I can feel how much more flexible I am getting every day and as a person with short, tight tendons and very limited flexibility for most of my life it's really exciting. Loved the music and the guided meditation. Feel so soothed and at ease.

I'm always worried about time so when I saw this was almost 30 minutes I was convinced I would only do 15 minutes then come back to it, but I got so into it and before I knew it I did the whole thing-and I'm so glad for it! Thanks Adriene for helping me slow down and just, well, breathe. :)

I never realized what I like about your videos so much, but after completing day 8 it really touched me to see that authentic devotion you have to the practice (you believe in it). Too many youtube yogi's out there seem to be doing what they do for the money and/or fame. It's just refreshing to see that you truly believe in what you do. Today's practice literally left me in tears from all the pent up emotions I hold carry inside on a day to day basis. Keep doing what you do Yoga With Adriene ! It's truly revolutionary!

This was exactly what I needed today. Felt anxious and overwhelmed right when I woke up, and almost didn't come on the mat because I thought I wasn't in the right mindset. So, here goes. I've been doing some of your videos and felt like I should really comment about my feelings. Everytime I do them, I always have this thought that even though I will feel relaxed afterwards, it won't keep me from being stressed out. But you know what, EVERY SINGLE TIME, I feel so refreshed, good, and relaxed. I literally feel down to Earth. Girl, I don't know what you're doing but pleaaase, keep going! Namaste (:

Adrienne, I try hard, I really do! But I think if everyone came in the room and saw what I am doing compared to what is on the screen, they may tell me to forget it. I Just had to leave a comment before the practice... This is soooo nostalgic! This was my first 30 day challenge with you about 3 years ago. This is where it all started. It was so hard, I didn't know any "shapes" and their names, I had to look constantly what you are doing, I made some huge (painful) mistakes because I didn't understand much. And now I'm kinda proud I kept coming back so I can be here for for the fifth month of every day practice in 2020. You are the best teacher on yt, thank you for all your videos, jokes, catching us when we fall 😊 Namaste!💚

This was exactly what I needed today. 4 minutes into the practice, I had to stop the video because I was crying. I'm great at escaping and numbing my emotions until I sit down, and really FEEL my body and soul with your practice- which forces me to release the pain I carry inside. So tired of the endless cycles of ADD, depression and self loathing. Exhausted from trying to land a solid career, be a productive person and learn to use my time better. So tired of feeling like an inadequate mom, wife and human being. So tired of feeling like an unworthy, unloveable mess. Thank you for giving us the space to release, love and nurture ourselves. I always feel stronger after 'spending some time' with Adrienne.

It took me nearly two months to finish the 2024 30 day flow, but I've decided that I want to keep it going for the rest of the year! So I went back to this very first one for the month of March and I'm very excited to have the momentum

'The Crow' wow. That was hard to imagine doing let alone actually partaking in getting my self in that asana. I failed the the first 3 or 4 times but then I did it! I held it for a second and had to drop down, then the i rolled and did it again for an extra second longer. Wow. Just your mind taking in that you are balancing your body in that position via your shoulders.... is incredible in itself. Like the plank yesterday, it was a challenge, that i had to repeat trying several times until i could manage it. Now I want to improve on it. I hope it comes up in one of the next sessions in this practise! And I know this is years old, but Adriene you are looking hot! Especially with the hair down! Namaste!

Lisa Holland-Aaron Most yoga is a workout but this whole video was meditative yoga. Which meant a lot of breathing and just staying in one position for a while. So it was less of a workout then her other videos or yoga classes in general.

This is my second lap around the pool with the 30 day yoga program and I'm so happy to have come back to this video. I feel 100x better just mentally and physically right now. Lord knows I did not the first time around haha. Thank you so much Adriene, your confidence and go with the flow vibes really had an affect on me and my yoga performance and how I use my breath. Ive been at it for 8 days now, and I honestly feel really great! I was at work today, and I seriously felt stronger! Some of it is hard, but all of it is so good for the body. I suffer from all sorts of different pain related issues on the daily, and I feel like, if I keep going, that I will, without a doubt, benefit greatly! Thank you so much!

Hmm i feel like I'm the only one who didn’t have a hallelujah moment 😩 i was very happy that i could do the pigeon pose and my heels reached the mat in down ward facing dog for the first time. But i was too restless for the meditation and too wobbly for the open pelvis squat. Guess after only 8 days having never done yoga before i cant expect miracles

I know you made these videos years ago, but thank you! I'm at day 8, and in a place in my life where I can actually make time for daily practice. Yoga is something I've always wanted to get into, sooo right now this is the best streak I've ever had. 37 years old and my body already feels wonderful. We'll see if I can make it through all 30 and continue on afterwards!

Had a really long and mentally and physically hard day at work yesterday, so when I saw today's title I was like 'YES, Adriene, YES!' I love the workouts, and the vinyasa flows but the nourishment we get from meditative practice is so valuable.
