Hey Kelly! Welcome to 100! So amazing! I am in total awe of the landscape you are capturing. I’ve been in that part of the country a bunch of times and I don’t remember it being that beautiful. I love the mountain house blueberry granola which is probably similar, I need to try the peak refuel! It's just so convenient over hot meals, dump 4 oz of water and you're eating.

The PCT is turning out to be so much prettier than I expected. Were you crossing a pasture when you saw that cow or was it feral? Also, did you both have goosebumps when you were soaking your feet? What was the ambient temp? Sleep in your skivvies and thank you for the content.

Hi Kelly, I am a teacher at Conway Junior High School and I want to lovingly offer a grammar suggestion…instead of saying “me and James…” it is proper grammar to say “James and I…” We like your videos and wish you well on your journey!

Hi Tracy! After getting a bachelors in journalism in college, I do know all the proper grammar rules. however, after hiking double digit miles daily, my brain doesn’t really function at full capacity to care much about using the correct grammar while speaking or while attempting to reply to a bunch of comments daily . I’m doing the best I can to hike the miles and document it on camera. Also, even after vlogging for the past 2 years and doing a ton of broadcast journalism in college, you would be surprised how not easy it is to talk in front of the camera. I misspeak all the time and have edit it out. While I understand improper grammar bothers many (especially an English teacher like yourself), I can not promise I will speak or type grammatically correct on this platform as it is totally informal and again I’m just trying to do the best I can to keep up with everything so it’s not going to be perfect. Thank you so much for watching and I apologize in advance for my bad grammar lol

If you didn't get a visit from the sheriff while camping, count yourself lucky. The manager of the Vista Irrigation District (a public utility from far to the west) is a big ass. He calls the sheriff on hikers that stray even a little way off the trail, even to get water. He also removed all the horse gates for the California Riding and Hiking Trail so hikers and equestrians can no longer pass through on the state trail. He even puts brush on top of the trail. A real jerk. Nobody is supposed to camp in that whole area as well, which is stupid because they are leasing it to cattle ranching that contaminates the watershed *much* more.

@S M They added the fact that you can no longer go to one of the water sources on the PCT Water Report due to these restrictions. Otherwise, I have no clue what they are doing.
